I would assume it's rubbing alcohol.. but maybe not.
Edit. I didn't see at the top they put makeup remover. I still would rather use rubbing alcohol personally. 😊
Certain types of makeup remover and certain types of glue, yes. I use makeup remover wipes to clean off glue residue from labels and stickers.

All brushes should always be washed and dried upside down so that water cannot get in the roots and destroy the glue

Are you talking about it breaking or the time taken to repair it? I’ve dropped a lot of compacts in my life, but sometimes you get one that maybe someone in the store dropped before you bought it, and the pan has damage you don’t notice at first….or maybe there was a flaw in the manufacturing process. Personally, I wouldn’t have the time to fix it, I’d just put the powder in a small jar container I can dip a brush into, results are the same in the end.
