You will never see another horse do what Flyingbolt attempted to do just one day after winning the QMCC, finishing a very creditable third in the Champion Hurdle. Sadly, injury was to cut short Flyingbolt's illustrious career, but he will always be remembered as one of the greatest chasers we've ever seen.
