- Abandoned Taco Bueno - Fort Worth, TX. Here is another closed location in the troubled fast food chain. You remember from 2020 the several locations we managed to find closed up as Taco Bueno struggled to be profitable. Several locations have closed up all over the network for the chain. This is just one more example.

I agree about Taco Casa. Every time I eat there I get sick. And it's been every store I ate at.
Never heard of Taco Casa. They just opened a new location in Cypress, TX.
@@christiangonzales7429 there are a lot of them in the DFW area. I knew someone who worked there. They cook their meat in lard. Lbs of lard for lb of meat. My stomach can't handle that much fat. So I avoid it.

Did some research, closed in December 2018. There's some Google maps start view, part from when it was open, since after it closed and all the windows were covered in plywood.

It seems as Taco Bueno is disappearing from the DFW landscape, they are testing out the waters in the Houston area. Katy, TX just got a new location.

That appears to be SE of I 30 and E loop 820. If it is I wouldn't be surprised it closed due to underperformance. I reported the store at least once, to corporate, for poor service. Took up watching the clock and after 5 minutes, in the drive thru, if I could I would back out and go elsewhere. My opinion they would only do one drive thru at a time.

We had a taco Bueno here in Amarillo Texas and it closed and was turned into a gas station.

I've had Taco Bueno one or two times...not anything very memorable. I don't know if you'll ever go as far west as Midland/Odessa, but if you do, try Taco Villa! That's my favorite fast food taco place!
