I love how honest Linus is. And as a day to day Linux user I understand his frustration with companies that don't see its potential. But Linux is getting better and better every day. Not to mention that now a lot of developers are developing their games with native Linux support in mind. :)
Honestly one of the biggest pros of the linux community is the lack of normies and less computer savvy users. Don't get me wrong, not everyone has to be a computer master but at least most of the Linux users have mastered the basics...

Everyone is very good at something, maybe it might not be enough, but it is a start; start with what you have first, and expand from YEARS to YEARS !! Excellent compilation of Linus Torvalds. I understand why some would get offended, but that's just part of his "rebel" mindset, which, in a way is what drove him to create Linux in the first place.
Passion does not mean to love. It could mean hate or annoyance. Passionate about a project means that ALL your energy and time and focus is in finishing that project AND successfully producing the results/answers you sought. Ironically he did change the world at least 3 times. Linux and WWW are conjoined twins. Linux Containers gave us Cloud computing. and Git changed the way we work even beyond the programming realm.

I disagree with him a lot. Smart guy but he is slowly freezing in time. He is not exactly wrong on his innovation explanation but he is missing the point entirely.
Cool, thanks, not sure about his management style (angry) and I'm not sure why you'd want to use Linux though, it's hard to use. It's free but in the end it'll cost you more if you include your time. That is especially the case with new kind of problems that for there is no known good solution. Intelligent design works well, if you have a well known problem.

I agree. IMO, most intelligent designs are a result of the experience gained by many failed designs.
To know how to design something intelligently, you must first do trial and error.
