Graphics of the Khim solo of the song "Lao Phaen" in this video clip has been recorded using the "Phin Pheesuea Software" by Ajarn Chanok Sakarik from the Luang Pradit Phairoh (Sorn Silapabanleng) Foundation. This software invented by the "Thaikids Software Group" headed by Ajarn Chanok Sakarik was awarded 1st prize in the field of Philosophy in the Invention Competition by the National Research Council in 1995. It is a program for practicing the Khim using the Windows system. The name of the software, Phin Pheesuea (butterfly Phin), derives from "Phin Rup Pheesuea," another popular name for the Khim, because when the curved cover of the Khim and the Khim itself are placed side by side they look like a butterfly spreading its wings.
