Jami, when I use to have 5 different breeds. One day I was missing my 3 female mallard.ducks. Looked for them everywhere. Gave up trying to find them. Then about 6 weeks later my neighbor called up and told me to do look at the rail road tracks and check the street out while I was at it. Here was the momma ducks bringing 45 babies across the tracks from the swamp, and across the street, walking along our street right in to our back yard. The 3 momma's brought their babies back home. That was so funny to see. The babies was walking single file all the way home. You might look out and see Louise walking back home with her babies.

The white ducks, Steve and Thelma they all came to the barn and house for protection. Were not at the pond like they enjoy. I do hope she has hid off from Timmy's snacking habit to hatch some eggs outside the littles area. They can fly when they want too.

Jami, Muscovy girls will look for nesting spots in the craziest places! Here in NE Florida they always look in chimneys! One fell in ours when I was a kid & ran all around our house before we shooed her out!
