- This is a How to Play Rules video for the board game Stephens I made just for the fun of it. If you enjoyed the teach, please let me know and it might encourage me to do more.
CORRECTION EDIT: in the scoring example I said 6 cubes x 3 cards, but there are only 5 cubes.

In Stephens, players compete amongst one another in the role of master glassmakers working at the famous "Stephens" Factory to become the most prestigious figure in town...after Stephens, of course. Through clever and cunning planning, all players will develop their works, invest in new businesses, and promote the creation of jobs. Through a unique action-selection mechanism, on their turn players choose from a variety of options, either by activating the Stephens factory or by activating one of their personal investments.
Loved it. Calm and well paced, and the highlights are really well done.
Excellent tutorial. Thank you for doing it. Hope to see more in the future.
Thank you for doing this. I'm doing a playthrough video for it on Tuesday and this will help.
Your videos have helped me endless of times. Glad I could return the favour.
Great concise teach. I particularly like the way you zoom and highlight the board when speaking about it.
i support you. thank you.
that was great, thank you!!!
Great video🎉🎉
Very clear explanations and very nice quality of video. thanks !
Very nice job!
Great video! I think I have everything I need to play\teach this to my group.
One small note, one scoring the contracts @8:22, you'd indicated that it's cube cost times the number of cards in the column, in the example you'd highlighted 5 cubes (the 6th icon was a brown jug), across the 3 cards. So it should have been 15 points, instead of 18, if I understand the explanation correctly.
You are correct! I circled the correct cubes but counted them wrong. 5 cube instead of 6
Thx :D
Thank you!
a question on the disk that unlocks the ability to discard a card with the lowest cost from the contract or industry market:
the player discards it, moves the remaining ones up and refills a card on the free space with the highest cost. At that point he can pay to take
a contract or an industry?
@@stefanodimartino8275 yes that’s how I interpret it.
@@littlemeeples as for the order of unlocking the disks: on the book on the left first the lowest then the others in any order.
on the book on the right we have two areas, the first the central disks are unlocked first (near the action symbols) and then the adjacent ones.
in the area on the far right they must be unlocked in order 2-3-4
the choice of which of these three sections to unlock is independent.
I can start by unlocking what I want on the book board respecting these criteria.
is everything correct?
thanks
@@stefanodimartino8275 all correct
@@littlemeeples what do you thing about this opinion ?
"I did not like the fact that you get 3/5 points per master for the small factories b/c you don't have much control over that. Someone can easily get 20+ points by just being in the right player order."
Is the completed contracts scoring example wrong? You say 6x3, but I count 5 cubes, not 6.
Correct. Another comment found it. I’ll edit the description to make note of it. Thanks.
