as someone who is freinds with the person who made this game, i can vouch that they did use the floorplan they made to make this! no, they weren't a stalker, they just used the floorplan and had a good eye for catching smaller details in the background of their videos. and regarding the window views, they took a picture off of google of some random london apartments, it was just a random picture if that makes anyone feel less creeped out about it!
The fact that Dan now “yes and”s all of Phil’s innuendos instead of shutting them down is so deeply unhinged, but also reflects how their audience had aged
also i just watched the last sims video and Phil mentioned that Dab was getting..a job and he immediately was like "is that okay?" lowkey worried that Dan would shut him off but Dan was like "no, that was quite good". hahaha i love them sm

This was just freaking pleasant in some weirdass way. As an almost 29 year old woman who was a long time watcher of Dan and Phil, it was like taking a walk down memory lane watching this. It's like passing by and looking at an old house you grew up in. 😊

Looking back, "Reasons why Dan's a fail" was so important to me when I was a teenager. The videos kind of gave me the feeling that it was okay to be awkward sometimes and helped me through a lot and to stay proud of who I am. So thankful, Dan🙏🏻

yes, but also the reason most people reference wattpad when talking bout fanfiction is because wattpad has a reputation for being severely unhinged and slightly disturbing. obviously AO3 is very popular amongst people who actually read and write fanfiction, but wattpad is synonymous with fanfiction (especially creepy and weird fanfiction) by the majority of people online.

literally. when i got past the fact that we knew way too much about them at the time, this felt like such a warm video where they just appreciate their past. but honestly i'm glad nobody could make this with their current house, and hopefully we've evolved past the point of trying to figure out their house layout

Not gonna lie, watching D&P was pretty much THE only positive thing going on in my life in middle school, so this video was extremely nostalgic and cathartic, as parasocial as I know that is 😂 it felt like the little highlight of my week/month was gone when this channel stopped uploading, and I’m so glad to not only see it back but to see it revisit some of the nostalgic themes and settings I’ve been missing this whole time
