Same here, I somehow forgot Infra existed, but came back to this through Obenseuer. Obenseuer is kinda the wacky cousin, and I'm curious about that game, too. Totally different things though.

That was one of the best series on this channel to this day. - The game is very detailed and great looking for one using the old source engine. I was 12 years old, when HL2 came out and yet people still use the technology. Similar how Bethesda still uses their messy Gamebryo engine, but source being way better. Sometimes improving on the old, proven is better than reinventing the wheel. - The 4D chess move easter eggs and mechanics are a clever way to add replay value. Not many games are doing this, especially not cash grab AAA developments. - As someone who works in the field of engineering, some of the scenes hit close to home, and some of them referring to real world events or are comedically exaggerated. - The only complaint i have is that Mark speaks american english, which is uncommon in Europe. Most of us Europeans speak british english. His sense of humour is also pretty close to what i personally interpret as more a british one, because they love dry understatements. But overall, this complaint is only very minor and does not impact the good impression i have of this game. The many beer drinking places are pretty realistic for Europe. I'll give it a 10/10, because i can't fit more into my pockets. //edited for typo correction in the fourth text block - 11/02/2024 - 00:47 CET

This game inspired me to do what I do for my occupation. I was in high school when this released and I went through engineering in college and now I work as a structural engineering inspector/consultant for commercial/residential
This whole scene with the reactor makes my hair stand on end even when watching it. I think this should be shown in game dev classes as the gold standard for creating tension.
I'm so glad you did a playtrough of this game. It is one of my favourite games ever and it really deserves to get more attention. You're the reason why I played this game and I'm so glad for it. If I didn't discovered your channel, I probably would never have found about this game. I really need to thank you for it. If the devs plan on doing a sequel to INFRA (not Obenseuer) I'm 100% going to support it. This game really needs more content. After I come home from my trip I will check the mods this game has.
I think the fact that Mark has gone through this whole nightmare without taking even a single swig of the ample supplies of Osmo Olut he's come across proves that he's not an alcoholic. Hell, he might be the only person in the city who's not chugging that stuff! (Which may, in fact, be the joke)
I mean there's at least one beer-chugging challenge alongside all the other suspicious, hallucinogenic-inducing beverages he can find and immediately sip.
That was a wild ride. Thank you for giving Infra a proper playthrough, and for being so thorough with the exploration. I'd still love it if you showed the normal ending. The original control rod sequence was a rather tense finale as I recall it.
"What is the cost of lies? It's not that we'll mistake them for the the truth. The real danger is that if we hear enough lies, then we no longer recognize the truth at all. *_What can we do then?"_*
It is why you need such high requirements for the door the 50% 90% 50% plus some certain documents and things eg the metro train need to be photographed otherwise it wont work.
This has been my favorite series and and kinda sad it ended here but I hope you play the INFRA Underground mod and more Obenseuer after this, there are also some other mods coming out in the future. Thanks for playing INFRA The Librarian!
INFRA is a masterpiece of a game, and this was a well done playthrough. Thanks for the series! Obenseuer was originally somewhat different, and the devs took a year to completely remake the game. It was a good move, and they've really turned it around! It's pretty bare bones though, and it'll be quite a while before it's ready, but it's still worth an early look.
You missed the basement of the villa; maybe something down there would give you access to the upper floor and maybe to that room with the light still on.
52:40 I honestly find it hilarious that _Mark,_ the person who doesn't drink at all, is considered by that lady to be the alcoholic while every other person in this city is apparently covered in those beer bottle brands lol. I refuse to believe that it isn't a joke
This was so cool! I've never seen a youtuber get this deep in the game. Also, it made me find your channel in the first place, which is pretty cool, too. Now I think I'm gonna jump down the rabbit hole of exploring the wiki for this game, I bet there's so much more lol
The post post credit scene was worth it! Mark really deserved some iodine tablets, a six pack of Osmo Olut and some sauna time after that day from hell. And if he wants to watch tv from the comfort of his toilet, I dare anyone here to criticise him - he’s a PERKELEEN hero.
At the start of this series I didn’t think much of this game, but boy am I glad I stuck with it. It’s ended up one of my favourite playthroughs on the channel!
Yup. Pitheath Water Plant is the best place to see it, as soon as you go through the doorway "back underground" (leading to the next map) it changes to [No Service]. Walk a single cm back across the threshold, full signal again.
I've legit binged this entire series in 1.5 days because i was sick, Thank you for introducing me to the world of INFRA! and i've got so many questions on the story. I may just get the game to play it myself!
With this being the final episode, it's like saying goodbye to a loved one. INFRA has so much to offer, and now at least we know why the DLC has been delayed for so long - Mark's still enjoying his vacation and "thinking about" returning to the office. I wonder if they'll drop a one-liner in the DLC to similar effect. Hopefully, we'll get a followup video that simply highlights where to find the remaining documents and shows the best ending... Or perhaps the ending with manually inserting the fuel rods. But if not, I'm still hoping for INFRA: Librarian Edition. Oh, almost forgot... Obenseuer is definitely worth playing again. There's actually a LOT to it already, so you can get quite a few hours of gameplay. Your first couple days are a slow burn as you get to know where everything is, but after that, you're kept quite busy. But two important tips: 1. Be sure to note the hours for each store so you can better plan your days. 2. Get a watch as soon as possible so you don't have to ask around constantly for the time.
Discovered your channel about a week ago, and binged through the whole Infra series in like 3 days. Absolutely love both your sense of humor and playstyle keep up the good work!
I just binge watched 1 thru 11 last night, and today (my birthday even!) you grace us with the final episode! I would LOVE to see you go back into some more Obenseuer gameplay now that we know so much more about the background of this whole thing. Thanks so much for the awesome content!
Well the good news is that at the maximum dose rate Mark would have needed to stay in the reactor for a whole day for the acute exposure to lead to a measurable increase in the chance of cancer. The bad news would be that the reactor didn't have that long.
My best guess for morko is that it is the manifestation of the people who were killed, and suffered, from this great conspiracy. It exists to wreak justice, hence why the mushrooms by it, that made a smuggler go mad and get lost, were harmless to mark.
Mr. Librarian you do not understand how long I have been waiting for this. You know it’s a good series when you literally think about when the next episode will come out. Amazing job (I literally cannot watch unless it’s a peak atmosphere and you do such so well)
I just found this channel. What an utterly AMAZING narration. You sir, are brilliant. Love everything about this. Others are great and seriously enjoy their content and hard work but this channel has become my favourite by far.
thank you for this playthrough! this is a great game and im so surprised to see all the things i missed or places i got stuck. i clearly wasnt able to channel the mark spirit aswel as the librarian
Hello librarian your my favorite TH-camr currently I love your gmod videos even know I may not be born when gmod was in its prime you really inspired me to play gmod at 12 years old
Nope, but Librarian almost got the Meltdown Ending (but reloaded a save). There's three endings, not including the Underground City: *Turnip Hill: Suck at your job and don't take enough photos (less than 50% in all three acts). *Mark's Vacation: Get enough photos of both corruption documents AND structural damage. If you can get into the S.N.W. Area, you're guaranteed to have enough for this. *Meltdown Ending: Fail to repair the reactor. Mark goes home to Finland to recover. Overrides the other endings.
...Huh. I guess you did photograph the crashed train after all and took enough structural damage photos for the good ending... I noticed you missing quite a few structural photos, so I wasn't sure if you would still make it. The SNW Area of the NPP requires 50-90-50% of document photos, three _specific_ Act 2 photos (Walter's Tape, the crashed train that I thought you had forgotten to actually take a photo of, and the bodies... miss even one and you can't enter the SNW Area regardless of completion percentage otherwise), and also requires... either 50-90-50%, or 50% in each act, of _structural_ photos too. (Edit: Ah, you addressed that, fair enough. I also tend to edit by waveform, mostly by "if I know I'm gonna cut out a big chunk, just _don't speak_ during it"...)
Also, 1:33:21 is the email I was talking about for the "best" ending. If you get 90% of photos, both corruption documents AND structural damage, in _all three acts,_ then the email from Raven Research outright offers Mark a job and talks about how the Stalburg Mushroom Virus is _still actively being developed by someone._ Additionally, the news broadcast at the end would've specifically mentioned the SNW Bunker and that multiple goverment officials were being tried for treason over it. Practically speaking, there's just so damn many things to photograph in the game that you need to _use a guide_ to get all the photos, because one missed rebar photo can put you under that 90% threshold on a casual playthrough. (The fact that you went to Tunnel B2 and got Mörköed rather than going up the elevator to the Pine Fell Pumping Station, automatically doomed you to sub-90% completion of Act 1...)
I don't know how good they are, but I did spot a few mods for this game that might be interesting... In particular one looks to dive into the underground that looks pretty juicy! :D
This was a GREAT game thank you for doing it the way you did. Especialy with your input to the whole mystery! Well done Man, Well done indeed! Thank you ..... AVB
gonna say it still feels weird seeing you play INFRA, i know you are a fan of it but seeing you play a absurd/underrated game i like is still such a special feeling. oh a certain someone is little annoyed you didnt gotten the wasteland. (i hope he dont mind me saying this :P)
This was a pretty good game to watch even with the uncanny but light lore on secret mass destruction and mass enslavement projects. Sadly, if this stuff happened in our world, projects don't get abandoned, they change directors. At least in the US? Oh, and Mark's boss would frame him with TONS of CP and Himbo porn to get him falsely locked up in max-security so he can get a ticket into those bunkers to wait out nuclear Armageddon. Something I nearly forgot while typing right now, sorry for the misinformation on last video about this games production date and lore overview. I have a habit of low-speculation to see that people are natural liars and are apathetic to one another when given survival options. R3TURN 2 M0NK3Y!!!!
The game was really cool I'm kinda glad I never played it as I'm definitely not as dedicated a explorer as you and would never have found half as much lol Hmm It's a shame it's been so long and no dlc unless they do plan a full sequel someday lol obensuer isnt my jam but if they ever make a full game again I might have to check it out.
Huh, in someone else's playthrough I remember someone reading an email on a computer saying someone had come through and fixed everything, referring to what you had done earlier in the game, but I didn't see that in your playthrough. Not sure where it would have been but I think the email was in reference to the water treatment facility.
@@sera7389 He missed going to Pine Fell altogether because of Tunnel B2, but fixed Pitheath. The email at Pitheath said the Pine Fell people were drinking, but I think he did see the email at Stalburg Central saying someone had fixed Pitheath.
I wonder how he would do playing Deltarune... It's definetly not his usual schtick but it does offer some creepy moments of its own Or Undertale... That game definetly has more creepy moments....
Thanks for this whole series, a wonderful time all the way through! My only gripe is the strange amount of hatred for Carla. She doesn't have nice things to say sure, but even comedically wishing radiation poisoning, sparta-kick-death, or claiming she had a "villian arc" seems pretty unjust and terrible, it really hit me like whiplash in an aggressive, almost sexist way... I dunno, women distrusting or assuming the worst in men is pretty safe thinking I'd say. Its clear from her words she doesn't know her co-workers very well and like many people in this game, is making up theories about what little she knows. It felt nice to see a jokey, emotional type of conspiracy for a moment...! Maybe I just felt that way cause I'm a women, I dunno...

"Cooking with Ramsay Bolton" Ouch 🌭✂
I wasn't sure I read it right 😅
Ah man, what a journey. Thank you so much for playing this.
This was so awesome and intriguing. One of the most thrilling playthrus in a long while. Thank you.
thank you for this playthrough!
this is a great game and im so surprised to see all the things i missed or places i got stuck.
i clearly wasnt able to channel the mark spirit aswel as the librarian
Hello librarian your my favorite TH-camr currently I love your gmod videos even know I may not be born when gmod was in its prime you really inspired me to play gmod at 12 years old
mark is literally structural integrity gordon freeman bruh. what a fucking awesome game
The boat part kinda makes me wish they included driving segments for getting to the locations.
Actually, during development they were actually going to add a driving segment, however it ended up getting cut from the game before release.
This was nice, i bet a game like this would be really nice on VR, maybe with more beautiful scenarios rather than spooky ones
I'm glad this had a good ending -- I wonder if there's a bad ending where Mark ends up covered in green mushrooms.
Nope, but Librarian almost got the Meltdown Ending (but reloaded a save). There's three endings, not including the Underground City:
*Turnip Hill: Suck at your job and don't take enough photos (less than 50% in all three acts).
This is definitely one of my favorite games.
Maybe you could do a few extra episodes after this that just solely focus on the secrets and little details and stuff?
This was a GREAT game thank you for doing it the way you did. Especialy with your input to the whole mystery! Well done Man, Well done indeed! Thank you ..... AVB
Noo it's over i loved this series 😔😭😭
I do wonder if you can outrun the helicopter if you ignore the conspiracy house and just speedrun that shit.
gonna say it still feels weird seeing you play INFRA, i know you are a fan of it but seeing you play a absurd/underrated game i like is still such a special feeling.
oh a certain someone is little annoyed you didnt gotten the wasteland. (i hope he dont mind me saying this :P)
what a series
I miss Mark already :(
you missed the achivement because there are i think a few photos in the secret snw room you missed. need to photograph small jar?
R3TURN 2 M0NK3Y!!!!
hell yeah
good stuff
Now, it’s time for you to play KONA!
55:25 I literally laughed out loud 😂
OMG This series, so good I don't want it to end.
Wonder if The Librarian has ever played Yume Nikki. Seems like it would be right up his alley since you explore bizarre, dream-like areas
He missed one of those water sorting facilities because of the mörkö sighting.
I actually did see him get that email, but I don't remember what episode it was in.
It's definetly not his usual schtick but it does offer some creepy moments of its own
Or Undertale... That game definetly has more creepy moments....
@24:37 what happened? I don't think I've really missed out on something, but it was a bit abrupt
I'm only on episode 3 rn, but day 9? Non consecutively of recommending vampire the masquerade bloodlines
I wonder why did you make that cut at 40:48... lookin sus
Day19 of asking the Librarian to play What Remains of Edith Finch.
