I agree… I understand getting NIL. What’s ridiculous is putting the “things” you want coming in as a freshman athlete. Keep the main thing the main thing. 18-19 year olds more worried about money and cars will not do well on the football side of things

Never looked forward to a season like this one in 2024-25. Crush/annihilate TCUN, win the B1G Ten, make the expanded playoff, and it’s the Natty or bust!

I doubt Ohio State is gonna have a run centric offense because Ryan Day will still want a passing offense it's just gonna be a little closer to 50/50 is all. I'm definitely going to miss Hartline when he leaves but Ohio State always reloads.
Umm, Do you listen to Kirk's show at all Do you know Chip's philosophy? Have you seen Chip's run percentage versus the rest of college football.. Are you aware that Trey Henderson, Judkins and Will Howard are on our team? In Chip’s offense The running game, which consistently involves not only the backs but also the QB and jet sweeps. Literally sets the table for the pass. Offense Either runs to set up the pass or as in Ryan’s offense, the short passing game partially becomes your run game. That is the definition of centrism, to be the foundation. The consistent starting point will be the run game for us. If ya listened to the show, you would know. Chip will be calling the game %100. Ryan will not.
@someguyio3654 Do you listen to the show? Kirk and Nevada have said multiple times that Ryan Day will still be heavily involved in the game planning. Chip will be calling the plays yes but their is more to offensive scheme than just playcalling. Ryan Day is going to have a say in every aspect of the offensive game plan which means you are still going to see a heavy dose of passing. They aren't going to abandon the passing game and go run heavy with arguable 3 of the best WRs in the league. If Chip Kelly is the offensive genius Kirk and Nevada say he is then he will adapt to use what he has. The offense will be heavily dictated by how well the WRs and TEs can block on the perimeter because that has been the biggest weakness for WRs under Day and Hartline. Kirk and Nevada have often said that Ohio State offense isn't going to change dramatically Chip Kelly will just add new wrinkles and some new terminology. If you watched the show you would know this.
