The HP balls that I had from Ebonite that I had were from EBI, WAY back when they bought C300, Hammer, and Track. Back then, the Matrix and Apex series were huge, but what brought it all home was the TPC Warrior. After that, I went XXXL, then went bigger with the NV series, when I had the Total NV and Complete NV. After that, Mission and Mission Domination ($250K). After that, with the exception of the original Gamebreaker, they started to go a bit downhill; at that point, After the Pivot came out, I switched back to Hammer and hadn't looked back. Ebonite matches up to my game well, and while was huge in the 90s to mid to late 2000s, they are a sleeper brand now. Don't sleep on them, as they still put out great equipment.
The key to all of Ebonite's success from 2003 going forward was Ron Hickland. He created a lot of the cores that Ebonite used, along with the Gas Mask Core that the BWs have, so his legacy is all in what Ebonite has right now, so if you see any balls that come from a famous series, more than likely Hickland had worked on it.

My wife has the OG Playmaker, Emerge Hybrid, and Big Time Special Edition. She loves Ebonite, so I gave them a chance and bought the Big Time Special Edition. I see why she loves them. It's currently my favorite ball besides my DV8 Trouble Maker Pearl. I'm still waiting to get my drilled Hammer Effect, Jackal Ghost, and Archetype Hybrid from my PSO, so that could change. I still love my Brunswick Infinity and Perfect Mindset and Track Theorem, too.

I like the name and the colors. I think the ball would be suited for a straight down and in player. The ball seems like it's too strong to shape. It would either be a game 1 ball straight angles or like game 3 if the lanes get cliffed and need an earlier ball. I'd be curious to see how the ball would perform in transition. Great review as always!

The name is a rehash of a cool name they had after they went big on reactive resin, as the Crush/R came out in 1993.

I have the Game Breaker 2 (which looks very similar to this Crusher), but just preordered The One Reverb to compliment it. Hope that works how I think it should.

    Hey Luis-
I have a topic for a possible video . I'm very new to the Jopo grips got my first one yesterday and it is really hard to lock it into place using my thumb but with the jopo tool it locks but not easily. Maybe you could do a troubleshooting jopo video ?

I have a question: Did you or do you ever consider moving your feet, right? It seems like nobody wants to move right, especially throwing an asymmetrical bowling ball.

Because it's a house shot and any oil right just buffed out after 5 feet. At my center, anything right of probably 7 isn't playable for me no matter what ball is in my hands. But I also have probably around 480rpms (+-20) on the ball. If I threw this ball and hit say 5 at the arrows, I'd probably hit the left gutter with my comfortable release.

Was hoping to see the Summit Ascent ball review by now. But still not a single SPI ball review since the breakup with Storm. Must have had his feelings hurt pretty bad.

Yeah, I wish he'd get back to including SPI balls. Seems like a bad idea to ignore a manufacturing group like SPI that has such a giant market share. Luke Rosedahl was my other favorite ball review guy and he still has SPI ball reviews even though he, too, broke away from SPI. I guess Luis got his reasons.....

@@mattvongruben my guess is money. To review an SPI ball now he probably has to buy it outright. To keep up with all the new balls coming out would be an expensive ordeal if having to pay full price for them all.
