Oh, Boy, planting my potatoes on May 25th in central New Hampshire, the ground thawed 3 weeks ago.

I put powdered sulpher in the trench and put potatoes on top of it, they like slightly acidic soil and it stop scabbing, it works. Your soil looks amazing, also I'm in Michigan.

If you don't let them scab over before planting there's more of a chance of rotting
