Through your neshama you feel the neshama of your rebbe ..that is so beautiful

What you sayis true at a less deep level as well. As a baal tshuvah I read very widely to start off with. I was very struck with th e Torah I learned from Yakov Emden, from RamChal, and others. Now I am a little older and I realise there is no end to learning, it seems to me that spending tine grazing wide instead of deep, is unwise. So now I try to learn just from the one souce, which for me is chabad. Is my attachment somehow better than another attachment? I would not dare say so . But deep is more satisfying to the hunger for torah, than wide.

"Go deep rather than wide" ... this is deeper (and wider!) then how it sounds at a first step. I will quote you from now on, thanks!

There are many chabad chasidim who grew without a Rebbe already or many baal teshuva.. living in place where there is no Crown Heights getto where there is nothing! Not even religious community and when these people only learn and hear about Rebbe and how it is to have one then when there is chance to see some Rebbe and his chasidim and to join for thish or learning it is great opportunity to live and see and imagine how it feels at least little bit. If the Rebbe (of different Chasidut ) wants you to give blessings it is respectful to go to him. As the Rabbi in this video said today it is different time and there are many different cases and so it is impossible to give just one answer yes or no. I absolutely agree that you should not take an inspiration or opportunity of someone... we are all Hashem’s people and it is good for everyone to be close or to see righteous person. Of course it would be different for chabad chasidim in 70’s 80’s living in New York, right?

Most chassidim are not chabad chassidim.not every chassid has a Rebbe but those that do tend to only go to their Rebbe however it was often the case to go to higher Rebbes if need aroae.

If going to a different Rebbe wasn't acceptable we wouldn't have chassidim like:
    Rav Mendel Vechter Shlita
    Harav Heller Shlita
    Rabbi Nachman Twerski Shlita
    Reb Meilech Zweibel Z"L
    Vchulu vdal
