      Thanks!
It's really difficult to get objective information about kit and I really want to change that. I hope it's been helpful!

You’re not alone at all, there is a massive industry built around making us all feel like we aren’t enough without the latest kit.

Did Canon stunt the R6 because of the release of the R6ii ?

I don’t know that for sure but for most of my time with it I could record for around 40 mins in 4k 24p if I restarted after 30 mins.
That’s long enough for me to record a take of an interview in most cases.
The week firmware prior to them announcing the R6 MII that stopped to 20 mins.
I sent it in to canon because I was concerned something was wrong with my camera. after dealing with CPS for a week they sent it back with a sensor clean and told me it was working as intended.
Annoyingly I loved the image out of the R6 so that left a really bad taste in my mouth.
That said the R6ii tricks a lot of boxes for me and I’m sure many others. But the way that launch happened sort of left me bitter.
