Home atmosphere is never gonna be loud in 2nd half after a 1st half like that, let's be honest, we expect to be beating teams like FGR so you're not gonna get limbs etc. though in recent reasons we haven't been winning similar games, so it makes a nice change. That said, I dunno about you, but I'm sat near to the halfway line and struggled to hear the FGR fans other than the pretending to score a goal cheer. Sometimes sound just doesn't carry if you don't get big groups chanting and singing. P.S. That said credit to them for singing and supporting all game long. Good away following.

So it's well due a bit of an upgrade, but I would never want it to change too much. It just feels like a proper old school ground, with history, both good and bad, and you can't replicate that in any new stadium.
I said this in that young lad's FGR vlog but these are real fans. So easy for kids these days to tag onto a top six Prem team but this is where the soul is. It's not all about winning. It's about supporting your local community and having a laugh while doing it. Great vlog.

It was such a missmatch in class and as a Wednesday fan I was actually expecting a real scrap so winning at a stroll felt a bit flat somehow. I assume you have more in your locker given you won L2, but yesterday was a ‘Rabbits in the headlight’ moment for sure!

Good video, Hillsborough has been quite quiet for a few years now. The feeling around the club isn’t a good although this season and to a degree last season it was more positive. You also have to understand that a league 1 home game for us against FGR doesn’t fill us with excitement and when we’re 4-0 up after 40 minutes it becomes like a training session for us
As a Wednesday fan our home atmospheres are good for about 10 minutes and good for about 5 minutes after every goal we score other than that they are pretty poor, our away support makes up for it
Atmosphere only tends to be good at Hillsborough for bigger games, the fans expect to beat teams like FGR so are calmer. Thought your fans were great and hope you enjoyed your day out! Subscribed

The game felt like a pre season game it was that easy for us, most just clapped ot 4th goal. Fair play to the forest green fans but you will struggle to stay up on that performance. You sat back but there was no closing down, you just stood off. I'd say it was the worst performance from an away league team I've ever seen at Hillsborough., Do realise you've lost a lot of players and a manager though.
I think that’s a very fair analysis and reflection. For me FGR have to pick up points against the teams in the bottom 12, we won’t compete away against any of the top 8!
We’ve always got an issue with atmosphere. Because of the distances between the stands and it’s infrastructure, we have different stands singing different songs because we can’t really hear each other. I sit on the kop and that’s always rocking. Crazy corner the same, but you can’t hear the kop because of what I’ve said

The nearer to the Leppings Lane end you are, the less you can hear the kop. Very strange. So if has to be a real atmosphere for the sound to build down both the south and north stand. Sounds like an excuse, but it’s true 😉
