  • David is a Creative Confidante to business leaders drawing on his wide experience of the creative disciplines to help organisations around the world be more inspired and inspiring. He has been a professional performer since the age of 9 when made his solo debut singing with Placido Domingo at the Royal Opera House, London. Today he performs with his improvising company Impropera. Following the launch of his bestselling book Will There Be Donuts? Start a Business Revolution One Meeting at a Time (Harper Collins) he is in great demand as a "meeting doctor" from businesses wanting to radically improve their meetings. In 2013 he set up a non-profit venture, Street Wisdom with the vision of turning streets into 'invisible universities' all over the world.
    In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.*

    Thanks for your wisdom David. I'm writing my philosophy dissertation on self-realisation through walking and one of the dilemmas often raised is the difference between walking in the city and walking amongst trees and rocks. Your project has given me hope for the city once again!
