I haven't been down in almost 3 weeks, but I assume they very much are still there, it's just a matter of finding where along the jetty they are. As for where, I've caught them under and along the Townsend Inlet Bridge, and all the way out to the tip of the 8th St jetty, so anywhere along there they can be, clams or squid, and you're good to go!
Yo I caught my first triggerfish off the rocks where you caught that flounder at yesterday! Also really enjoying your videos bro, you're putting out really good content.
Dude this is awesome I kayak corsons inlet around there Never caught trigger fish in jersey Great vid Love the Hobie too Gonna sub Have some vids down there too on kayak etc
Just subbed, loved the video. I’m at Bluewater Marina on 34th St. in OC. I usually head out Corsons on high tide and come back in TI. Getting any sheeps?
Absolutely! Just try different presentations, some days they want a bucktail tipped with gulp and other days a hi lo rig with squid, mix it up and you're bound to run into a few fluke!
@@thelister4910 To some extent... but most days when the drift is too fast, I find myself beaching my kayak and fishing from land... you'll find some fluke without one, trust me!
FS if you're at the Townsend, I put in down by the bridge, there is a little beach area on the Avalon side kind of in the corner there, and drug it over the rocks and sat it on the beach area and then it's a nice launch once you get down those couple rocks and I paddled out to those jetty's there, let me know if you need help finding where I'm talking about!
Ypu act like those were the 1st fish you ever caught carrying on like that...its like that one person on the charter boat telling you how to reel that fish in.... youre all very annoying!
That beast earned a like and sub !!
Thank you so much James!!! Means the world to me!!!
Took my grandson to the jetties yesterday. We found some flounder and sea bass but no triggers. The highlight for him was a 4 foot brown shark.
They have to be around there somewhere... I hope! Awesome to hear you caught some fish though!
I Have Heard From You Ever Sense. Hope To See Your Video Soon We Need More Kayakers In The NJ shore And North And Raritan Bays
Do you know if the triggers are still around the jetties? Also how far up the jetty were you?

Don I was going to look around for them this week too, spearfishing has produced a couple I know of, so they're here!
You look like a cool dude to fish with. I’m always down that way do you fish during the week? Or mainly weekend?
Mix of both, but usually during the week, I'll be down in a few days, in the inlet in a little 14' boat or along the rocks for sure
Do you think now is a good time for flounder in the surf on the CT area?
Absolutely! Just try different presentations, some days they want a bucktail tipped with gulp and other days a hi lo rig with squid, mix it up and you're bound to run into a few fluke!
@@the_frugal_fisherman Thanks! Wish I had a kayak, it probably gives you a lot more options.

@@the_frugal_fisherman Thank you for the encouragement. I really appreciate that.
How did you get the kayak down the rocks

@@the_frugal_fisherman thanks man i appreciate how nice you are.
Is that normal for that much water to be in your kayak where your foot pedals are?
Good fishing but the commentary was among the most annoying I’ve ever heard.

Ha, sorry man, I get excited! That's why I keep doing it!
