I just got my AG Empress and really like it so far. I also have a Vagabond and like it as well but got tired of holding down the button to have it work. I was impressed with the Empress since it glides through by itself. The problem I see is that the AG Mix & Match 3D embossing folders are not going to work with the Empress as they are very thick and a hard plastic. Is there a trick to using them or am I stuck using them with the Vagabond?

I am also wondering if it's possible to run the Sizzix 3D Impresslits (like those beautiful Time Holtz leaves) that cut and deep emboss at the same time, through the Anna Griffin Empress machine? I can't seem to find this information anywhere!
I use the Grand Caliber plates in my Empress which is what I use to cut the double sided dies. Of course these are not her plate brand so you’d be using them at your own risk. I have no tried the embosslits in the Empress. I’m not sure I would.
Wendy Robert I haven’t used the Spellbinders folders in it yet. I would imagine the plate combo is much the same. If I can find one I’ll dig it out and try it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The embossing on those turned out gorgeous! What weight of paper were you using? Also, I've seen where some people are spritzing the paper with water with the 3D folders...do you think that's necessary if using paper above 65#? Thank for another great video!
Good day.. Heavier paper I spritz with water to soften the fibre a bit and the paper emboss without cracking or tearing.. Just a a little spritz not soak it

BlackCatNoni I’m not sure of the weight but it was thicker than 65lb but not has heavy as 110lb.
I’ve never spritzed paper to emboss it.
