    I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one during painting that constantly redoes areas and deletes entire portions. I feel like every painting is another journey, filled with challenges no matter how many times you've done it. So, thanks for including those bits. I see way too many videos that make it seem like they got things right in 1-3 tries. It's refreshing to see the entire process, warts and all. :)

    What I like about your digital paintings (not just about this) - it`s like you are doing it.. I mean it seems like it is so clear/comprehensive and easy to do, but it so damn NOT....Only the people who are practicing in drawing can really understand how many times and efforts were spent to achieve this speed and fluidity

      i love this idea when viewing peoples timelapses, so sometimes i reduce the speed of the video which results in a way more 'real time' pace. TH-cam video > bottom right: Settings > Playback Speed :)

    Hey Jordan you are like actually insane at this and makes me wonder what helped you improve?? How did you achieve this kinda level? I do art myself but I am far from that.

    Can you create something like this in clip studio paint?
    Or is it only PS?
    Its just I keep hearing people say CSP is just as good for artists but I have never seen anything even close to this drawn on there.

    This is a great painting! Do you usually start with a black and white blockout, or would you recommend painting with color straight away most times?

      I think whatever way you find easier to do, do it! I try to start in black and white like this because it helps me just focus on the forms, shapes and value before jumping into the colour.

    A really great painting! One question is that the trees in the foreground are very close and the detailing of the leaves will be visible. Any reason why you keep them as it is, without filling in the leaves and shadows?

      From what I could tell by slowing down the video it seems like you're color picking the value first and then select a color with the same value. Is this correct ?

      I always try to use reference if I want something to look realistic. With this I tried to be a bit more fun and stylised.

      He uses the custom shape tool by the looks of it. You can make your own using paths.

I don’t use Photoshop I actually use procreate on the iPad so unfortunately I don’t believe I have the ability to use custom shapes at the moment however I can import Photoshop brushes so I might try those. Any chance you might ever use procreate?
