Hi guys, another question from the other side of the pond. I noticed the drum major in front is wearing tartan pants instead of a kilt. Is that a personal thing or something different? 🤔 Thanks braemar for the video. Old Hickory, Tn. 🇺🇸🏴
It is up to the company/battalion. Some can decide to wear pants and that's fine. It just doesn't look as good when you're on parade with others. It is more of a comfort thing. So yes, that is a personal thing, but I would try to avoid it because you stick out and look like you're not a teamplayer. especially when you're in command.
