i said it since original WOTLK. casuals are bread and butter of all MMOs, if game loses them, game slowly dies. and devs need to implement systems which would make casuals play, also retain them. instead of making systems for top 1% of player base. and locking rewards behind insane skill, where causals cant even dip their toes in. new season will start, 2-3 weeks in. its going to be another shit show, pre-expansion event starts and people will start coming back for hype. and next expansion. same shit going to happen.
@@kepo6314 true, but it's at least something. as it stands right now, there are no rewards between 1800-2100, and 2100 onward, unless you doing 3s and get mount at 2400. if you look at participation chart of solo shuffle (it might be bad or whatever, people like it, that all that maters), the drop off in participation after 1800 rating is insane. people just stop because there is no carrot .

Giving better rewards is not even a proper long term solution... Once you get the rewards, if the game isn't fun to play, you don't play it
