A nice topic to chat about in a podcast is: How is the World Cup going to affect possible partner changes? It is the only tournament where you can try new couples playing to the maximum. There the super kids reappeared, there Galán cooled his desire to play with Coello, there Bela and Sanyo gave themselves a new opportunity, there Paquito decided to play with JMD (after the World Cup in Portugal)
No, playing the other side is almost a different sport because padel is a second bounce sport. You need to anticipate where the ball is going to bounce the second time and that radically changes when you change side. It’s good to be ok playing both sides because you will have a better time when you change because there is too many left hand players in the amateur game. You will be invited more times. But tournaments are played at each one best. It’s good to be a right hand player because with less level you play higher level matches. If a kid is starting playing padel and want to be a pro for sure is better to be a right hand player, he will win more money
Interesting you think that. I would say it’s almost certainly easier to become pro as a left hander! As there are so few and they are often sought after (and there’s only one side to focus on).
Topics for future podcasts @ThePadelSchool : - How to improve quick to an intermediate level - How to improve quick to an advanced level - What level is needed to be a good padel instructor? What skills & knowlegde is needed with that in your opinion. Thanks in advance!
everyone should swap sides to develop their game and you read the glass better, just good gymnastics for the brain

@@ThePadelSchool you should always focus on a single side. If you are starting I will always recommend to play on the right side of the court
