I have a few tips yes.
First, a warning. Hearing bass is hard, especially if it is deep down in the mix. I transcribe a lot of the basslines with an equalizer removing the top end and trying to hear only the bass.
To start to transcribe basslines or anything to your instrument you first need to be able to sing them, so first you listen, then you try to replicate the note with your voice, and you sing the note while you look for it on the instrument. That's how you start. It's a slow process in the beginning. You should start to try to hear note by note, of course as you progress you'll hear more "musical phrases" then notes.
Another tip is to start with vocals since it's WAY EASIER to hear then bass, and it's a lot of fun and one of my favorite things to transcribe.
Just start slow , note by note and keep in mind that its hard in the beginning, but totally worth it.

In your tab/notation, I think the tempo should be around 70bpm, and then you combine two bars? I think 141 is too fast, and if following the correct tempo, the bars looks like in 2/4. If that makes sense. Solid cover btw
I'm not sure if I understood the combining two bars thing.
In regards to the tempo, yes, if you think about the drums the tempo is 71bpm, but it's so much easier to both write and read in double time :)
