- hey lovely people :) I filmed this video with the idea of showing you all some front office dental duties ; however since I don't work I came into a realization that I wouldn't have much to film .Front office duties are different than the back office duties. Both front and back office assistants play a very important role in completing the dental dream team . The office would not flow smoothly if it wasn't for all of us .I hope you enjoyed this video . Please don't forget to subscribe like and comment .
Also please don't forget to hit the notification bell to get notified every time I post a video . Thank you for watching .

Hi! I have no dental experience and will start next week as a dental coordinator/receptionist. Can you please make a video with tips and advice please also I'm getting nervous about the pre auths and referrals can you please break it down if you can? It will mean a lot
How has it been for you so far? I start next week no dental experience as well 😅
How are you doing? I just started as well and it's so stressful 😅 lol
Thank you. I’m starting soon this was so helpful❤
Good luck on your journey 🍀🦷
Question: what if a customer ask you a question that you don’t have a answer for. What would be your response?
Great question. This can go about 3 different approaches.
First: If the question is related to diagnosing then I would tell them that I can not answer that question, that only the Dr. would be able to give them that information.
Second: If it is a question I should know but do not know I would tell them great question ill get back to you with that, let me bring an instrument (something you forgot) back into the room. Then I would either google the question, or ask another assistant if they know the answer to this question. Once I get the answer, I would go back to the patient and say , '' Im sorry about that, so back to your question ___________"
Third: If you are new and definitely do not know the answer it is okay to tell the patient im sorry I don't know the answer to that question But I will ask doc and he can inform you more about it. (THIS SHOULD BE THE LAST APPROACH) because we should have knowledge in the field we are working in.
I hope this helps(:
Great Video
Thank you ☺️ 💕
