After 10 years immersed in the handpan practice, I'm recording my first handpan album! Join and win Yishama handpan!
The project I'm working on now is a double album of the handpan music called "Relict". This is my 14th release (you can check my whole CD catalog here) but my 1st album fully dedicated to the handpan.
This album sums up my long adventure with this instrument and my effort to create a new vocabulary for the handpan, adopting the techniques from another instruments to it, inventing new techniques, exploring various articulations and textures, experimenting with uncommon chord progressions etc. One CD will contain the music performed on the handpan only, and the 2nd CD will be dedicated to the duo/trio works where the handpan will be presented in the combination with other instruments. Some tracks are already recorded, and some tracks will be recorded in next half year. The material you gonna listen to on this album is a result of my true love of the handpan, sincere dedication to music, and radical practice which i put into it!

Another amazing thing about the handpan - is a wonderful community around it. When you go to some handpan event you immediately feel that you're part of an international family. I'm sure you know what i'm talking about :)
For long time i have an idea of "Handpanistan", the imaginary country where like-minded handpan people live together. Who knows may be one day it will materialize!

Similar for sure!!! Some things are different between Rav and handpan though...

I have a very critical attitudes and experience with the handpan scene, primarily because of their dispute with the creators of the Hang. Nadishana is part of these people, if not an apologet of this very disputed scene. Also, I had a not so good experience as a potential customer of his shop. However, I respect Nadishana as a great musician and definitely like his music. I will listen to Amber & Ice for more than only once. It's great and beautiful. So thumps up for Nadishana whom I would love to hear on a PANArt Gubal or Hang.

Но иногда в твоих композициях или соло, когда ты играешь один , совсем не хватает мелодии, а только сухая супер техника. А на этом видео я залип, тут она есть 💪
вы видите нехватку мелодии, из за недостатка собственного собственной практики, играйте больше, и станете слышать мелодию везде.

Надишана в данный момент лучший хангист из всех существующих!!! Это бесспорный факт!
Но я имел ввиду, что когда в композицию добавляются 128 дроби , невероятные роллы на каждой играемой ноте, флажалеты и прочие супер фишки игры на ханге, иногда теряется, как бы так правильно выразиться, душевность что-ли. Мелодия, которая течёт как ручеёк. Именно то, чем характерен этот инструмент. Даже те же самые попсовые Ханг Массив имеют ту самую душевность. Хотя их игра крайне минималистична!!!
