Pastor Paul, I don't know if you will see this comment, but the passage you shared from Mere Christianity is exactly to the TEE the one that made me a believer. I still remember the exact moment when I read it and I said out loud "It is true. It is all true!!" I wish I could share my whole testimony here, but during that time I was searching desperately to believe.... it was the single most important turning point in my life. When push comes to shove if someone’s not for you they are against you, that’s not asking too much or being clingy, it’s called loyalty.. some people just don’t have it in them or they are ultimately loyal to other people or themselves but it’s definitely not too much to ask out of a spouse, it’s what God calls us to do and imo it’s the bare minimum
