I was a police officer for MB for over 30 years. This is one of the very best videos made to show highlights of days gone by. I have watched this video dozens of times over the past decade, or so. Thank you for the memories.
My family and I love this video. We got royally drunk and we happened upon this song. I guarantee we blasted this song at least 10,000 times. Bless. We still, as a family, drink heavily and love those Myrtle beach days.
i love myrtle beach and my class of 99 reunion had an awesome time. i am taking my son on his 9th birthday to celebrate so wish me safe and fun.

Great song, great footage. Shame some of the places in there like the Pavillion are gone now but will live forever in our memories. The times may change but Myrtle Beach is still one of my favorite places on earth.
I have been looking at this video for several years and love it as much today as I did the many years ago I first saw it! They did a great job making this video!!

Killer video! I have been going there all my life... 38 years. Too bad alot of those places are now gone. I still love Myrtle Beach even though they dont like bikers.
I love this song my uncle jimmy had a snow cone shack in Bristol VA and we would listen to this song and I love beach music. He passed away yesterday day so I looked the song up so I could relive those good old days working and dancing in the snow cone shake on those great summer days. Love you uncle Jimmy.
I miss this place i only get to go once a year for a week and it is the best time i ever have each time i go.

We miss the Pavilion. Heaps of memories there. My youngest boy keeps wanting them to bring it back.
All of the simple pleasures are still here though. There's still some great little places reminiscent of the old beach around the south side and up in Cherry Grove.

I’m from NC over the years Myrtle has garnered an awful reputation. This reminds me when things were different. Not better, just different. Haven’t been in a long time. Haha we’re getting old.
No it was just better… I went for 15 years in a row and it got so ghetto that we ended up having to go somewhere else🤷♂️

They do have a small airport. I am not sure where you would have to connect from. Maybe Charleston.
Yes, there are alot of foreign visitors to Myrtle and received well. This area is popular with Canadians too.
I been to Myrtle beach for cheer leading competion. i cheer for Platinum elite all stars. WE had won first place all year so we celebrated there. We stayed at the best hotel there, Crown Reef, it was so fun. We even walked down to go to a haunted house. This dude was chasing us with a chainsaw it was so funny cause he almost got me but i ran to the elevaor before he could. But it was so much fun cant wait to go back this year.
i love taking just random trips to the beach! i wish i lived a lil closer though..the two hour drive can be boring sometimes.

Used to stay at Pirateland there. Unfortunately the land for that area is now split between different owners, and Pirateland itself is now on its final days. An entire generation of memories there is sadly coming to an end.

And now there's a zipline course where the Pavilion was. I hope it lasts, only time will tell though.. as well as the Sky Wheel. I hope it too, is there for years to come.

anyways i've been to myrtle beach a few times in my life the last time i went was already 2007 and i had fun my favorite part is the beach though when we where there we saw jelly fish on the beach but i still had fun.
For years before I retired, I was in MB about 5 days a month. What a pain in the ass. While getting 3 stores on line at Coastal Grand Mall, I was there for Harley Bike Week, Atlantic Bike Week, and then Spring Break. 3 Weeks in a row. Damn, can we say " Burn out"? LOL MB was great before Burroughs and Chapin got their hands on the real estate. Cut a deal with Hard Rock Park. at the expense of the landmark Pavilion. Now both are gone. Ain t the same.

Ayeeee are y’all from SC? I was raised in Columbia, SC so I’ve been to Myrtle beach many times! It’s a great place! Kinda gone down hill but still a good place to visits! I like Charleston a little bit more but still both are great!
