This all looks great! However, I’ve seen lots of tutorials that say the IKEA bag storage you’ve used to store your vinyl rolls doesn’t work well. Do you find this to be true?
Hi, great info. Quick question - I bought a couple of those bag holders at Ikea and I find that some rolls don't fit because of the center cardboard core. Do you have the same issue? If so, do you just remove the core and roll the vinyl and put it in the holes?
I got my cricut for Christmas and from the first moment on I‘m watching all your videos. You have this incredible paper storage. I do have a kallax but can‘t find a tutorial on how to do this! I am a newbie still, got my Cricut and Press 3 weeks ago but have been so busy with grand kids birthdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas that it is still in the box. So it looks like I won't have time to even get set up until after Christmas but I will take before and after pics as I do have 2 clothing display tables that I purchased from Rue 21 when they went out of business which I will be using for my crafting. I have been watching your videos while working (shh, don't tell anyone) but it's the only way I am able to learn how to use my new machine and make things. I can't wait to get started, but I just wanted to say thank you and let you know that you are appreciated very much!!!

Good morning I am new to cricut. My question about the mats is as follows. They are sticky so I assume they should not be stored one on top of the other so the surface will stay sticky longer. Do I put the protective cover it came with back on after use? I am currently setting up the room and buying supplies for my wife. Thank you
carlos lovera yes you should, as the mat is to be used repeatedly. If it gets too dirty, you can always wash the mat with warm water and soap, then let it air dry. The protective cover keeps the mat from sticking to other things and clean.
Don’t judge but I have used Dollar Tree vinyl for testers. Recently, I bought one and tried it. The vinyl has a sticky back and struck to my mat. Cleanup was awful - took forever. So, this paper with sticky back - is it meant to be used without a mat? I never knew that vinyl came with a sticky back. So, any ideas/recommendations?
I like the look of the bag dispensers, but I use a lot of wider vinyl (15", 20", and 24") and I was looking for something that might hang on a wall. Do you have anything like that by chance?

Yes, all of this going on has hit Ikea even harder than a lot of companies, since so many of us are now working from home and deciding to upgrade our working/crafting spaces! But, I've noticed that they are slowly getting more items back in stock as the days go by, so all is not lost! And, worth the wait!
I love when I get validation that I am on the right track, so I started out getting some of the organization tools when I purchased my new Cricut Joy. I’m still waiting on a few items to arrive, but once I have it and set it up in my craft space I will share a photo on facebook group. Thank you!!!

I just got the Cricut explore air 2 for Christmas and I'm new to the cricut world. My question is about blades. Are all the blade housings a universal size? If so, can you take a deep cut replacement blade and use it in th blade housing that came with the explore air 2?
Hi Kathryn! So glad you got a Cricut for Christmas!! So, when using the deep cut blade you will want to use the deep blade housing. The fine tip blade will go in your standard housing that you will most likely use most often. Hope this helps.
@@JenniferMaker I purchased patterned vinyl watched video,went to cut shiny sidedown,mirror,and it just cut the plastic not vinyl, so I put patterned side up cut and it cut but when I went to iron it it didn't look right.

They are limited on how much vinyl that can be stored.
What is your tip for keeping and storing cardstock scraps? I keep them ALL, no scrap too small!
