mitoy yonting was one of the best underground artists i've followed before he joined the voice ph to have mainstream followers..
Filipino language don't have exact equivalent for "he" and "she" pronouns, we just say "siya" or "niya" for all gender. i think that's why filipinos are sometimes confused in using these pronouns😊 love you Ovela

What's super popular these days are crazy high notes and riffing. I can appreciate those things, but I don't need them in everything I listen to and actually I can get tired of that kind of stuff. A reason why I love Lea so much is I have NEVER gotten tired of listening to her sing.

Vice did help but it was actually Lea who swayed people to vote for him. That was the first season of the voice and people were very excited to see Lea as a coach and back in the Philippines. She was the most popular coach at that time.
Theres so many celebrities who rooted for Mitoy that time. kris Aquino, piolo pascual, gary V. Jhong Hilario, Annabel rama to name a few. And Piolo voted him thru text as well, its not just abiut Liking him to win, but they wanted him to win and helped him win

If I remember correctly, Mitoy won The Voice s1, yes.
Klarrise placed 2nd not Mori(she didnt make it to the finals). 3rd place was that from team bamboo, the jazz dude(forgot the name). Then Renz Rapanot placed 4th(Renz was my favorite that season).
Morisette was never in the finals
VICE GANDA is a total performer/entertainer....singer, comedian, actor, host.....but haters hate...nevertheless, he's the most successful celebrity in the history of Philippine TV/film industry.
Finally, someone noticed mitoy yonting. Man, please check out his other performances and I guarantee you, he is one of the best male singers here in the Philippines.

Before winning the voice mitoy is a comedian. And that act with vice is a comedy/theatrical act... That was a historical event because its the very 1st the voice Phillipines.
I thought it was great. Some Hollywood producer should take a chance and get Vice cast in a comedy caper like international espionage/theft like Brad Cooper in Thailand can't remember name. You get the idea.
