1. Fasting
Asalaam aleykum
If you can come and pick me up at my LAND, If you call my name I will celebrate the same like you!! DO it!!
I’ve been informed before, that we can fast from Rajab till the end of Ramadan, not specific days, but full months. Is that wrong? (So, we shouldn’t fast Rajab and Sha’aban?)
Assalam o Aleikum, yes indeed, through sunnah we can see that we're not encouraged to fast everyday continuously for any other month than Ramadan. Because in the larger picture it takes away from the sanctity of Ramadan itself. Like Muhammad SAWW, we should fast every other day, or Mondays and Thursdays following in his footsteps. Similarly our Prophet SAWW, discouraged fasting on Fridays as well, in precaution that over time people might make it an innovation.
@ Thank you for the feedback🤍 Yes, Mondays - Thursdays as Sunnah any time during a year. Ramadan of course compulsory🙏🏻.
But there are also specific days in holy months. But, I don’t know, which days are they. If you have a schedule or list of days and it’s meanings, I’ll appreciate if you could share your knowledge.
@ I’ve asked about Rajab, Sha’aban-since one of the friend of mine she’s been fasting whole three months, from Rajab to Ramadan. I’ve been surprised and curious always, but never fasted in such way of course, except Ramadan.
@@selbigylychdurdyyewa6161 We might have differing views in this regard because i understand there are some deviations of beliefs in this matter. But I dont believe there are are any 'specific' days prescribed for fasting in any other month other than ramadan. Except for maybe the day of arafat when its recommended by sunnah i think. The white days are also encouraged of every month, the 13-14-15.. But i really urge you to do some research about thia online and through bayans and articles, scholars give knowledge in respect to quran ayahs and it's the best way to form your belief inshaAllah 🤍 i hope you find the clarity you're looking for. Too much hesitation and confusion is from shaytan so be aware of it, Insha'allah you'll be able to find your footing in practice.
