This is what I look for in an island. From the drone intro the Lipari Island, looks very big compared to others that I have ever seen. Sicily has it all. The island is very beautiful, I like the shops, many tourists and looks very pleasant to walk around. Magnificent Cathedrals, etc. I enjoyed video very much.

Ciao Marco! I have been a subscriber to your channel since before I moved from America to Firenze 9 months ago. But I just came across this older video today. It is funny because I have been considering moving further south after my year in Florence, and I have been looking at an apartment on the island of Lipari. It is in the Belvedere Quattrochi area of Lipari, in the hills outside of the main cities. Do you know anything more about Lipari or what would be your thoughts on living there full time? The Aeolian Islands are well-known, so don't expect to have no tourists (this is obvious) but, unlike other Italy places, you can enjoy a more "peaceful" time (sure, it also depends on which island you choose), to short the story: go, you will not regret it.
