After eons of messing with watches in the past, I will never go back to the old method. Thanks so much.

Thanks for this clear video. Was wondering how to change the strap myself without scratching the casing and damaging the strap. There are a few on TH-cam about this but yours is by far the best. Just the right amount of info. Great close ups to see what is going on and relaxed friendly narration style. And I very much appreciated you showing how us to put the strap (back or replacement )on as well!

Worked like magic! Used a needle threader to pull floss through, but a needle would work also. Glad I looked on here to find the best way. This is it!

Thank you so much. The first one took a little wiggle but by the second time it was a breeze. Even the Tudor AD and the Service Center didn’t know how to remove the super tight strap on my Black Bay Ceramic. It’s such a relief. Super clean!

WOW! You are a GENIUS! I struggled and struggled until I tried your method. The strap came off in a matter of SECONDS! THANK YOU!!!

Awesome tip. My strap was pretty stiff, so I had trouble pulling down hard enough without the floss ripping into my hand. Wrapping it around the rubber grippy part of a pen gave me plenty of leverage and worked like a charm, in case anyone has the same issue.
    Thanks again!

Wonderful idea! While dental floss failed, I used 10lb fishing monofilament line, which is much more durable. The spring bar popped out with a slight pull. Tip: Use garden gloves to protect your hands and for steadiness. A white dish towel under your work area helps.
