Kabza is always sitting there, quietly pondering during interviews... he probably figured out like 3 new songs (in his head) during this interview! 😂😂😂
Shoutout to Slikour for getting an interview with the gents and calling them out about not talking, maybe it’s the pressure to do all these interviews in a certain way but gents need to start documenting everything they’re doing, piano is a lifestyle and movement at the same time, there’s no fitting in, it came from the streets no big artists came with it, they are just riding the wave. All of this needs to be archived or else someone else will write the story and make themselves a hero in it.
I've noticed some discussions about KABZA being quiet and people wanting him to speak more. I'd like to emphasize that KABZA is a naturally reserved and quiet individual, which is simply a part of who he is. His exceptional talent in music speaks volumes, and he excels in his craft. As time goes on, he may become more comfortable with interviews, but it's important to respect his personality. I was disappointed by the way the Slikour mocked him for being quiet😡, such behavior is disrespectful, especially on a platform viewed by millions. It's crucial to create an environment that encourages artists to express themselves authentically. Despite the challenges, I wish KABZA continued success on his musical journey. He's undeniably the best at what he does, and I hope he receives the respect and recognition he deserves. Danko✌🏼
Slikour is so amazing at creating a beautiful synergy with his guests. It’s so evident he loves what he is doing.. and he even got Kabza chatting which is pure gold🙌🏾
this lovely Meen, We love Amapiano in Kenya but we dont know the HIstory behind it. The Beat has really grown, now sell the Genre. Dont let it die with you
SLKOUR is very intelligent in interviews coz he knows already that Kabza is not good in speaking english he end up getting shy .and kept his silence .then he advice him to speak in kasi language so that it can be easier from him to speak out .shout to slkour. Phori .Kabza king of piano we love yu boy .
BIG STRONG S/O Slikour for this interview.... amagents mele aringe more. You love you gents, amapiano artists are our rockstars PERIOD 🔥🔥🔥 But I should add as well, Kabza speaks a lot when he's cooking in studio... he's got killa vibe about him⭐
Slikour is right because outsiders are now trying to take ownership of this sound, these guys need to be much more vocal about this sound that they created. I’m Zimbabwean and i heard this sound when it was still underground in South Africa, i hate the fact that other people that are not South African are trying to claim this sound as theirs, some of us that heard this sound from the beginning know that it’s South African. These guys need to do more interviews and own the narrative.
As non South Africans, we have zero issues with subtitles. If anything, y’all refuse to sue them so we can follow along. Slikour’s on point that Piano’s story needs to be told by the right voices. I didn’t know that Kwaito person ever existed until just now and that’s a sad state for the core contributors of great art. A challenge to Slikour to memorialize it as a well produced YT series maybe?
@@slikouronlifegreat interview and in our languages. Wherever they go they must be able to speak in a lingo they are comfortable with. Russians speak Russian and get translated if there is a need, so the French, the English likewise, no language is better than another in this world! And reality show would be dope.
S/O to Slikour but i think there's something short there , kind like alcohol nyana , i think that's where we will see the real kabza and his goals . . ..📌😏. Anyway shutout ...
Ey thanks again grootman Slikour for getting the Scorpion Kings for us. Just a few pointers, kabza went to private schools so he is definitely fluent in English, no need for subtitles. Lastly I don't think piano cats have a problem with telling their stories but rather I feel the problem is the manner in which interviewers approach them. For example some of the questions grootman Slikour asked the gents have already answered on a few of the interviews they already which are available on TH-cam. Kabza has said it before that he was born in Mabopane, moved to stinkwater which is near Soshanguwe where Phori is from, moved to Lombardi East which is a suburb near Alex but it is not Alex. The questions you asked grootman where poor, you asked maphorisa how he feels about the movement, of course he feels great about it. The way in which grootman kept asking about doing a reality show and the assuming that kabza cannot speak English, could have put the guys off. First of all the guys have gigs lined up for days and the idea of an interview or doing a reality show seems like something they won't be benefit from but instead it's going to grow platforms of people who are not interested in who they are as people but rather chasing numbers, I mean really interviewers have to up their game. All love though grootman, greatly appreciate this
But.I never asked about where they come from nor did i ask about how he feels, do you even know there's a no interview rule with Kabza? There are global stars who understand the value of interviews in documenting culture, I think you speaking from a point of assumption with no context of the importance of these stories being told by the artists.
Whether Kabza went to private schools to learn English is irrelevant. Our languages are as important as English to English speakers, Chinese to Chinese, French to French speakers. That's why there is something known as translation and translators.
I like how slikour trying by all means to make guys comfortable to speak their language big up big dawg
Kabza is always sitting there, quietly pondering during interviews... he probably figured out like 3 new songs (in his head) during this interview! 😂😂😂
I love the way they show up for each other, Phori is very protective of Kabza and they understand each other.
The world need to give these guys a Grammy.

Kabza needs to really start talking.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I now understand why kabza is always drinking he's shy and he's scared to talk in his own language
