I don't think that's the case. I've discussed with another fan and we're both of the same opinion, but I guess time will tell. Jim (and most of the band) was noticeably tired last night. Not sure why. Also Jim had a bad cold for the Burning Kiln show on July 14 - so bad that most of the set were Greg's songs. That was less than a month ago, so might still be recovering or perhaps wasn't singing much while sick and that affected his vocal muscles. And, finally, Jim has been saying for decades that the humidity levels out west are bad for his voice. It often cracks at western shows. Go figure, haha So he had a lot going on and that happens sometimes.
