Answer - I cleanse it with WEN and scrunch it with my fingers and maybe some WEN styling cream when I get out of the shower. That's it. No blow dryer. No nothing. If it needs it, maybe comb with a wide tooth comb...I wasted YEARS damaging my hair. Now it's super healthy and long.
I am 37 and the Burt's bees lip shimmers are still my favorite along with their tinted lip balm. I have been using them since I was a teenager. No shame, love them.
I love the NYX liners and the Revlon ColourStay cream eyeshadows....I use them basically every day. They’re just so fast to toss on before running out the door for work. I use praline, creme brûlée and caramel most often ❤️
My inexpensive fave products are: 1. Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara 2. L'oreal glow cherie (I think in US it is called Lumi glotion) - doubles as base and highlight 3. L'oreal True match foundation 4. NYX micro brow pencil (in shade Taupe - perfect for blondes) 5. Milani Luminoso blush (I have a mini but it will last a long long time) 6. Inglot Pralines & Truffles eyeshadow palette (you can buy if you are in the US inglotcosmetics.com/eyes/eye-shadow) My fave palette right now because it has shades that I can actually use on daily basis. No weird shadow colors that you wouldn't use - perfect for everyday. 7. Pysicians formula butter bronzer (d'uh) :D 8. Max Factor Colour Elixir Lip Cushion (great dupe for Clarins is you are in EU or can order somehow) 9. Neutrogena hydroboost range for face & body 10. real techniques that daily essentials kit (got it thanks to Shelby and I love it) 11. Burt's bees lip balm :) xx

That mascara is amazing! The only one that ever equals Clinique High Impact if not a tiny bit better. Revlon Candid concealer foundation & powder are my other favourites at the drugstore. I love them.

This made me want to immediately buy those Burts Bees shimmers! They were practically the only lip products I used in high school and college. I remember loving the shade Fig. I’d forgotten all about them ❤️
I started using NYX products over 10 yrs. ago before anyone on You tube talked about them. I had to order products from the NYX site because they were near impossible to find in a drugstore and I remember finding a tiny beauty store that had a small stand of their stuff. I still have their "taupe" powder which is a perfect dupe for the Kevin Aucoin contour powder. Your right about the lip pencils, they are great, cheap and now come in lots of colors.
I came across your channel a couple weeks ago and have been nonstop watching your videos 🥰 I even got my sister hooked! I love your approach to makeup. Fantastic products! One that I find myself always going back to is Essence’s Luminous Matt Bronzer (not the regular Matt Bronzer). It works wonderfully with my fair skin and has just the right amount of luminosity to balance the matte. I don't like mascara on the lower lashes. Touch my eyes too much I guess. Makeup revolution brow gel in medium brown is rocking my brows lately. I have the Ulta cream shadow in Vintage Beauty and it's like a grey/taupe/purple shade, but it doesnt look muddy or ashy on me like other cool toned shadows do. I reccomend if you're around a Mac NC30 and can't find a flattering cool tone eyeshadow! You also get a TON of product for the price. I cant imagine ever going through it honestly.

I like the Loreal glosses, and even the Rimmel ones over the NYX. The NYX feels heavy somehow and I don't appreciate the caramel smell either. It does look pretty on though.
I highly recommend the Wet n Wild Berry Bronze lipgloss. I think it would flatter your skin color as it’s similar to mine. You can’t beat it for $1.93. I find the formula irritating in some of the other colors, but not that one. For a gloss it stays on for a longer time. People ask me all the time what it is. The color makes my face glow.

I use the NYX eyebrow gel, but wish the brush was much smaller (as it is in the version they sell in the UK). Cover girl mascaras were always my go to - but ever since they discontinued the Cover Girl professional, with the curved brush, I've been searching. The Wander Beauty was the closest I've found, but the last tube I bought (reformulated) seems very different to me, and flakes off during the day. Tried No.7 with a curved brush - no good either! My lashes are quite long, and thick and the roots, so I have to be able to get the wand through them, and some of these newer denser brushes just don't do it, and I hate the rubber ones. I did try this mascara, but the wand just doesn't work for me. Must try that foundation - it looks wonderful!

I bought this product as soon as it came out. I picked up the wrong color and never went back to return it. I did love the way it felt on the skin and seeing this video reminded me that I need to take another look at it because I seem to always be on the search for a new foundation. That NYX eyebrow gel is fantastic. They don’t sell it at our drugstores (Canada) but I bought it off of Amazon. Definitely better than my benefit brow gel and I’ve loved this for years. The nyx one is great because it holds your eyebrows in place without that crunchy feeling and I like that it’s actually MATTE and not shiny like many others.
I just ordered the ulta shadow based on your recommendation and I am so excited for it to come in the mail! I was really considering the skywash but couldn’t justify the price (and I was able to use both a coupon and points on my purchase so it knocked the price down another couple dollars)
I have the ulta cream shadow in vintage beauty and I absolutely love it. Elf makes a similar product but a bit thinner. There is a dark brown, I think called cocoa, that I love to smudge along my lash line - highly recommend!
I know. I love these. Sometimes they get pushed away to the back of my makeup drawer, but somehow , they always find their way back to the front. They are a great product and a drugstore item that I love.
I love the NYX lip pencils. Peekaboo Neutral is my favorite. Another Drugstore ride or die for me is the Milani Keep It Full Lip Plumper. I own almost every color. The Believe Beauty nail polish is just as nice as Essie or OPI. Unfortunately, I can’t wear the Hydroboost foundation. It oxidizes on me. I look like an Oompa Loompa, and that’s not an exaggeration. I really hate that it makes me look orange, because it did feel comfortable & hydrating. My skin looked so smooth too! Guess it’s not for me. ;)

Shelbey, I've seen NYX New Suede Shoes used as the perfect dupe for Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Liner! :) I like the NYX Control Freak Brow gel but sometimes it flakes by day's end...I've tried to lighten up application. PS Your hair looks great :)
My favourite inexpensive mascara as of late is the McoBeauty Xtendlash Mascara. They’re an Aussie drugstore brand and you can purchase their products at Woolworths here in Australia. It’s very inexpensive and actually SO good! I bought it not expecting a lot but I’ve been really happy with it and will continue to buy for sure. I have very watery sensitive eyelids and this mascara has never smudged. It’s a tubing mascara and I’ve heard people compare it to the Glossier mascara (which I’ve not tried). I prefer this mascara to a lot of the high end mascaras I’ve tried like Hourglass and Kevyn Aucoin.
Nyx peekaboo neutral is my ALL TIME FAV!! My perfect nude lip liner I need to have at least two backups at all times😂 And LOVEEE the burts bees lip shimmer in caramel!!!
I've been enjoying the Nyx lip pencils. Beige is a great shade. Going to try the other colors you mentioned. The mascara is on my list to try. I've really enjoyed the Nyx butter gloss. The color cupcake is my fav. Great video? I think your hair looks great!

Shelbey, can you please do a video on how to coordinate colors? I’m eyeing the Chantecaille cheek geleé in “vibrant” which is a raspberry shade (and also the opposite of inexpensive. 🙃) I have an olive skin tone so I think it’d be a pretty summer shade for me but I just cannot think of a lipstick shade to pair it with as most my blushes and lipsticks are in the nude family. Also a video on what colors you usually use on what undertones would be informative too. Tysm ly.
I love the Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmers!! The L’Oréal Lash Paradise is my current favorite mascara. The Covergirl Exhibitionist didn’t work as well for me, personally.

Have you ever tried the NYX Worth the Hype mascara? Very similar brush, just doesn’t have the curve in the middle. It’s my favorite mascara for the same reason as you. I’ll have to try the Covergirl one next though, thanks!
I absolutely love the revlon photoready candid foundation and the concealer with the same name. Looks super natural on me, not a lot of coverage but just enough and it looks like skin (this goes for both). My everyday staples! I do love Covergirl exhibitionist but it’s quite hard to come by here in Ireland (bought in on a US trip last year) but I’m more team lash paradise :) Love your style of doing makeup btw, you’re not so over-done and I love watching your videos ❤️

I use the NYX eyebrow gel, but wish the brush was much smaller (as it is in the version they sell in the UK). Cover girl mascaras were always my go to - but ever since they discontinued the Cover Girl professional, with the curved brush, I've been searching. The Wander Beauty was the closest I've found, but the last tube I bought (reformulated) seems very different to me, and flakes off during the day. Tried No.7 with a curved brush - no good either! My lashes are quite long, and thick and the roots, so I have to be able to get the wand through them, and some of these newer denser brushes just don't do it, and I hate the rubber ones. I did try this mascara, but the wand just doesn't work for me. Must try that foundation - it looks wonderful!

I bought this product as soon as it came out. I picked up the wrong color and never went back to return it. I did love the way it felt on the skin and seeing this video reminded me that I need to take another look at it because I seem to always be on the search for a new foundation. That NYX eyebrow gel is fantastic. They don’t sell it at our drugstores (Canada) but I bought it off of Amazon. Definitely better than my benefit brow gel and I’ve loved this for years. The nyx one is great because it holds your eyebrows in place without that crunchy feeling and I like that it’s actually MATTE and not shiny like many others.
I just ordered the ulta shadow based on your recommendation and I am so excited for it to come in the mail! I was really considering the skywash but couldn’t justify the price (and I was able to use both a coupon and points on my purchase so it knocked the price down another couple dollars)
I want to try Neutrogena hydro boost skin tint so bad since you’ve mentioned it a lot. But sadly Neutrogena only sell skincare where I live.😔

I have the ulta cream shadow in vintage beauty and I absolutely love it. Elf makes a similar product but a bit thinner. There is a dark brown, I think called cocoa, that I love to smudge along my lash line - highly recommend!
I love the burt's bee's sticks. And the other Ulta cream shadow colors are just as good .

I know. I love these. Sometimes they get pushed away to the back of my makeup drawer, but somehow , they always find their way back to the front. They are a great product and a drugstore item that I love.
NYX slim lip pencil in Nude Truffle is my go to and goes with pretty much all my lipcolors.

I love the NYX lip pencils. Peekaboo Neutral is my favorite. Another Drugstore ride or die for me is the Milani Keep It Full Lip Plumper. I own almost every color. The Believe Beauty nail polish is just as nice as Essie or OPI.
Unfortunately, I can’t wear the Hydroboost foundation. It oxidizes on me. I look like an Oompa Loompa, and that’s not an exaggeration. I really hate that it makes me look orange, because it did feel comfortable & hydrating. My skin looked so smooth too! Guess it’s not for me. ;)

My favourite inexpensive mascara as of late is the McoBeauty Xtendlash Mascara. They’re an Aussie drugstore brand and you can purchase their products at Woolworths here in Australia. It’s very inexpensive and actually SO good! I bought it not expecting a lot but I’ve been really happy with it and will continue to buy for sure. I have very watery sensitive eyelids and this mascara has never smudged. It’s a tubing mascara and I’ve heard people compare it to the Glossier mascara (which I’ve not tried). I prefer this mascara to a lot of the high end mascaras I’ve tried like Hourglass and Kevyn Aucoin.

Nyx peekaboo neutral is my ALL TIME FAV!! My perfect nude lip liner I need to have at least two backups at all times😂 And LOVEEE the burts bees lip shimmer in caramel!!!

EcoTools Bronzer brush. It’s a large stippling brush that works for everything. I have multiples of them bc they are fantastic.

I've been enjoying the Nyx lip pencils. Beige is a great shade. Going to try the other colors you mentioned. The mascara is on my list to try. I've really enjoyed the Nyx butter gloss. The color cupcake is my fav. Great video? I think your hair looks great!

Shelbey, can you please do a video on how to coordinate colors? I’m eyeing the Chantecaille cheek geleé in “vibrant” which is a raspberry shade (and also the opposite of inexpensive. 🙃) I have an olive skin tone so I think it’d be a pretty summer shade for me but I just cannot think of a lipstick shade to pair it with as most my blushes and lipsticks are in the nude family. Also a video on what colors you usually use on what undertones would be informative too. Tysm ly.
I love the Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmers!! The L’Oréal Lash Paradise is my current favorite mascara. The Covergirl Exhibitionist didn’t work as well for me, personally.

Have you ever tried the NYX Worth the Hype mascara? Very similar brush, just doesn’t have the curve in the middle. It’s my favorite mascara for the same reason as you. I’ll have to try the Covergirl one next though, thanks!

I absolutely love the revlon photoready candid foundation and the concealer with the same name. Looks super natural on me, not a lot of coverage but just enough and it looks like skin (this goes for both). My everyday staples!
I do love Covergirl exhibitionist but it’s quite hard to come by here in Ireland (bought in on a US trip last year) but I’m more team lash paradise :)

Will definitely look into some of these, inc. the neutrogena as I when I walk past it none of the products pop out to me and I'm not sure what to try, but the tint will be something to look into. Also, completely off topic, but I do like your nails here. Is it a particular nail polish (if so which?) or were they done professionally, either way, very nice.
