Vent your grief/rage/confusion/etc over your loss as often and as hard as you need. Don't let anyone tell you that you shouldn't. The Creator knows what is in our hearts anyway, so there is no point to bottling them up and having them fester out of control on you. Weeping/yelling/screaming out your pain will wash away some of the shock and allow your heart and soul to begin it's very hard journey to healing.
I will NOT sugarcoat this.... The heavy burden of your great loss will NEVER EVER go away nor will the missing pieces of your heart and soul that had been your spouse's home ever be filled again.
H O W E V E R . . . . With God's help, the pain WILL become easier to bear over time. One day in the future, you will suddenly realize that you can breathe easier as the heavy burden on your heart will have grown a bit lighter (Yes, just that suddenly, completely out of the blue!) That is when you will also begin to feel true happiness once again.

I find myself right now grieving so hard for you, because I cannot imagine being in that situation. I cannot begin to imagine your pain. I love you. I am praying for you, and I am crying big, ugly, salty and snotty tears for you right now. Grieve however you need to, always remembering to lean on our God through it all.

I’m a thirteen year old girl struggling through a lot of stuff and as much as a want to have a relationship with God, I feel like something is holding me back. Like I’m doing something wrong. My biological father left us, and even though I grew up visiting him once a year(because he never wanted to see us) most of the time it was only for a couple of hours. I have now stopped seeing him all together. He never loved me. There is other stress in my life that I don’t want to share(don’t worry I have never been abused or anything) but I also suffer from severe anxiety and depression. Please keep me in your prayers.

My children's father is the same...but know that one of them is happy due to him not having to want to have contact w him bcuz he would get abused even when he asked for food. But that isn't true. I finally gave my life to Christ and it's the best decision I ever made. I don't have family problems, and I'm so sorry you have to go through that. I've been through a lot that I don't like to share, and I've been through depression. I know the struggle that you are in right now, and I know God sent me to tell you there is hope. Whatever you've done, whatever you've been through, there is a God in heaven who loves you, who sent His only son to die for you. Jesus didn't come for the perfect, got-it-all-together person. He came for those like us. He came to pick up our broken pieces, and heal us. Saige, whatever you think you've done wrong, God is still here. You don't need to be perfect. But you need Him. I recently renewed my walk with the Lord. My brother told me to take the thirty day challenge and listen to nothing but christian music. The first song I heard was Trust in you and Ive done just that. Thank you Lauren for such an incredible album. I love it, Ive got it my car, on my phone, and on my computer. I have passed in on to my daughter in law. I can tell you the joy it has brought me, its brought me closer to God. Its like you wrote it from my heart. One night I was sitting in my couch listening to this and I almost started crying and I think I got saved. I just want to say thank God for dieing on the cross so that we could have life and so we could live and I want to think God for everything he has done for me. Remember even when you are going through a tough time God is still with you even if you can not feel it. Remember when you wake up in the morning you are blessed with another day because you are not promised tomorrow. Think about when God died on the cross for us. He went through pain. He got nails stuck in his hands and his feet and bled for you so that you could have life. Next time when you go to church do not be scared to stand up and say something.

I also am basically wheelchair bound, but can transfer to bed, armchair, etc. Into a car with assistance, and hopefully on horseback once again. I think God was wanting me to hear this song. I've been having a hard time letting my ex go. I love him, but he isn't right for me. One of my favorite singers is Adele, but when I heard Lauren, I was so taken by the fact that she has a very similar sultry voice that I admire so much in Adele because it's so different. But the fact that Lauren doesn't just have this great gift, but she uses it to bring glory to God. And she's showing the world how to worship Him, without them even knowing it. My health , at work and my mental health. But not once has God leave he was present in every moment I cried for help . Last song my mother heard while listening to Christian Radio while in hospital when she passed was Rescue , she held up her arms and smiled half way through the song, told us all thanks for seeing her off... we played it at her funeral
