I’m in Michigan Beverly Hills village and we got snow. I love your video and have learned quite a bit from you!! Thanks so much I’m new gardener recently retired !! Lost my mom so it bring me peace.
I'm in southeast Michigan. We have some of the same snow. Most of my gardening is in pots. But I can't leave them in pots for the winter. The bottom of the pots freeze, and the soil turns to ice. Any rain or melted snow can not drain out, and the soil turns to slush and drowns the plants. So I have to empty them. I have only emptied about half of my pots because the soil is frozen. On Christmas day it is supposed to warm up for several days so I am torn. I like the snow for Christmas but I also need to finish my garden work before it gets cold again. I am going to cut some greens to put in my window boxes but with the frozen soil I may have to pour hot water on the soil first. Then arrange the branches before the soil freezes again. Love your grasses in the snow. And that beautiful weeping cherry.
