The part where you reglue the sole is no joke at all. You really have to press the upper and sole together very hard for a long time to get them to adhere.
i never thought about detaching the bottom 'boards' on the uppers so they can be adjusted on the donor midsole. i was so discouraged thinking these donors dont line up with the uppers even though they are the same size. ill try it out! thanks!

Hey can you guys answer a question for me I have lebron 11s and the rubber over lay over the fly wire mesh at the top of the shoe got chipped off what can I do to fill it back in and not make it noticeable that something filled it in ?
I have the same 2001 Breds that I bought from someone years ago. it's still with me now. mine's soles has hardened like bricks and literally split in half but the leather on it is still almost pristine condition. its a size 10.5 but I'm only a size 9.. can you restore and also reshape it to a size 9??
Hey Vick! Why don't you use the Angelus finisher? I see you use a handful of their products, but not the leather finisher. Is there a reason for that? I've just gotten into restoring sneakers and got curious
Kinda surprising Nike doesn't provide soles to shoe repairers. Give them m certified soles and glue, and get a slice of the market Nike, you are missing out.

I have a pair of 1994 nike air Darwin og white and teal that I've had since the 8th grade. Midsole are crumble and can use a deep clean.
We won't recommend putting these in the washing machine.

The shoe size cannot be changed.

We do not recommend using mink oil on patent leather at all.
