Beautiful. For me these journals are a small “homage” to the stunning creativity, the craftsmanship and art masterpieces of the past. History paints such a bleak picture of the past but so much of it is still resplendent and such a contrast to the “ minimalist” computer age. And you live right in the middle of so much of the Renaissance etc.

Magnificent masterpieces, Rachel. Love these journals and the way you create a beautiful blend with each element and papers you put together, I just adore everything you have done. Thank you so much for this great honor and the magic you create with the kits...I am back again, as your flip throughs are so uplifting and great for motivation especially when i am having a down day. Good Lord, Rachel !! Good luck on out-doing this one -- but, of course, you will. Next time you find yourself in the company of that mean man (we all know who it is), you tell him, first, that you are a master artist in fabric and paper work, get your phone and put the word out to all of us here -- in the south we call it "rounding up your posse" and we'll give him a piece of our mind, but in a very calm, but loud so everyone can hear voice tell him you know -- you don't have to say "crazy" woman -- ha -- but this woman in Virginia you know that had a fascinating 30-year career as a court stenographer, and she was just mentioning to me the other day that she took the testimony of hundreds of psychologists and psychiatrists in her work, and they all say the same thing -- men who are rude in both word and deed are actually very timid inside, and 100 % across the board in their different practices and patient evaluations, all the men have extremely small -- in youtube terms -- "hoo-haws" -- that is an absolute fact -- After Lorna Bobbit relieved her husband of his own "hoo-haw" it set off what I called the decade of the "hoo-haws" -- it seemed like I did case after case after case -- a lot were divorces, especially on men who treated their wives so horrendously, and they were always so rude and boistrous in depositions -- then, to their great horror, we would take the deposition of either the shrink (not intentionally funny, but an appropriate word, I think -- ha) or the counselor, and they would be livid that their information was being shared, and 100 % of all cases involving that "little" detail were settled out of court, because divorce hearings are public, unless it is closed due to information about children -- ha -- anyway, now I get to say -- I know this master artist who lives in Italy -- the girl can give all those master sculptors who primarily did naked people -- What is up with that? -- a run for their money -- well done -- this is so wonderful -- I'm not going to even bother going over to your etsy shop, I'm positive it sold out immediately -- please don't think you have to respond -- big hugs and the best wishes for the coming year -- Patricia

I love your journals one of my goals for 2021 get a job ! because husband only gives me 40$ a month i could possibly get disability but jobs are hard to find ( Another is to buy one of your journals because they are stunning !

Hi -- I have a question and others may want to know this, as well -- it's hours later since I first watched this, and because I watch your channel, when I can get youtube to work, I ordered plastic storage envelopes with gussets; They weren't scheduled to be delivered until Thursday -- darn Amazon with their good delivery service -- I had the regular ones, but these will hold more, so I've been organizing my kit print-outs and creating small icon cover pages -- I finally got printer No. 4 for this year -- but the little HP I bought for 7 bucks at the thrift store to cover me from the horrendous experience of the Lexmark color laser -- blood pressure rising as I type -- but the HP still has ink in it, so I'm using it to print out the icons -- why not -- but it always worries me that I may be, unintentionally, doing something wrong -- I purchased tag dies in early december basically to attach to large tags -- but I LOVE how you used them as a book mark on those pages -- and that is my question -- are you okay with me using that procedure, too -- That was the cooliest thing I've seen in a while !!! And these journals, Rachel, are just -- they are gorgeous; the people who were lucky enough to purchase them wlll cherish them always -- you always make wonderful journals, even your fun Christmas one was an absolute winner -- but -- these may be if not your best, in contention for the No. 1 spot -- I hope you are as proud of them as you deserve to be -- but what makes me chuckle every time -- your book pages are older than our country -- ha -- but I'm glad you include them and they don't just sit on a shelf wearing away -- I've been binge-watching Call the Midwife, and I only have four more episodes for the entire series -- part of the series is on netflix -- it's worth a look-see -- and the beginning series is on Amazon video -- anyway, it's Humira hangover day No. 2 -- for me it lasts for three days -- and my bed is covered -- literally -- in paper and file folders and materials and scissors because of your very darn great idea -- we order catfood online, and the largest size they have, and it comes in this huge box -- part of me just wants to chuck it all in one of those boxes and watch the last four -- oops -- lucky for you, my little marcupial is tapping on my window -- there are two o'pposoms that live in our yard -- one little Frank -- whom we think now that she's a bit older is Francine -- and then Big Frank, no question he is a male. They do not carry rabis and are not aggressive, but hiss to scare you off, and if that doesn't work, they play dead -- tonight my son, who could eat pizza every day of the remainder of his life, had one with chicken and cheese and ranch dressing -- ick -- but I asked him for a couple left over pieces -- poor Frank, he about died of heart failure and quickly grabbed it -- I also leave them green grapes (or white grapes), they really like those, but it's a riot to watch them eat -- their teeth are farther back from their little pointy nose -- yesterday we really did blow his little Frankie mind -- I had left-over cheesecake -- which if I were not feeling unwell, there would be no left overs -- ha -- so I left it out for Frank, he grabbed it with his whole mouth and then started making these little cooing sounds -- ha -- and having relieved the pizza slice from my window sill, he walked away, not knowing I also had a choc. chip cookie for him -- which should be the title of a book for on dating -- ha -- be well -- I see you've got another flip through, but I'll have to watch tomorrow -- I have to deal with all of this other paper -- ha -- but seriously, please let me know how you feel about that -- and the flip with the whale tail punch -- coolest thing ever -- I finally found one for sale on eBay back in Nov or Oct -- it was $85 and worth every penny -- when it first arrived I was punching out all the paper I could get myhands on -- ha.
