THIS IS ONE OF THE FINEST MARCHING BANDS THAT I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE TO WATCH. THE DIAGONAL LINES WERE ALMOST PERFECT, WHICH IS NOT OFTEN SEEN. NOT ONLY DO THEY LOOK GOOD, BUT SOUND GREAT TOO. MY HAT IS OFF TO THAT GROUP,THANKS,bw
This was an outstanding performance! Arcadia played this march so well...seeing it live really gave me chills...the low brass makes your tummy rumble..
I fail to see your logic. Your statement implies that if Arcadia marched a smaller block, meaning the reduction of the possibility of errors, Arcadia wouldn't be able to measure up to any Northern California band? I'll save it for someone else to comment that Arcadia only marches their full band at their home event, and that they only march no more than 2/3 of their full band in the competitive block.
I think this is one of those bands that is actually EXCITING to watch. I don't know why, but it's just exciting. There are some other bands where you sort of watch them struggle by, and it's still okay watching them, but for some reason Arcadia is one of the bands that is EXCITING O.O :]
When I was looking at some Rose Parade 2008 pictures of the AHS band, my friend tried to be annoying and told me to find a person out of step -_-xx I can tell you that my eyes were sore for a really long time for the rest of the day... And all for nothing x.x But I
Class of '68 - Ron Hoar was our director. It was a great experience and I am thrilled that it continues.

A terrific march, beautifully played. The low brass was insanely good.

One thing that I remembered most about Arcadia was the pitch bass drum cadence and the headresses during competition during the mid 80's.
Probably the best HS band ever !
Dear heavens! Like a mighty conquering army from antiquity! Great!

... "They are VERY good at being huge"... I love you... xDDD
i don't get how Arcadia "dominated" although they have lines that waver continuously if you examine the video closely enough.
