I always worry about using lights. I mean they are necessary on night dives but when I think about how much light I am pointing at the eyes of a creature that can't blink, I hope I'm not damaging their vision. I love Bonaire and should be back for my 8th time in 3 years this July. I've done both the sites in this video and about 60 others. If you are ever diving at Rock Pile on Klein, please keep your eyes open for a GoPro Hero 12. I lost it there in November. I just want the SD card as it has over 100GB of video that I hadn't backed up and whoever finds it can keep the camera and housing.

@@Pete_R63 Thanks for leaving a comment. I never keep my lights aimed at fishes for very long. If I get to Rock Pile, I’ll keep an eye for your lost GoPro though the chances of recovering it are slim… If I do though, you can have it back with the memory card. I wouldn’t use it.

@@LivingandDivinginBonaire Cheers, thanks, I'm devastated and it is all due to my stupidity. I had one video clip that is about 42 minutes long of me just following a common octopus (my favorite species to see). I have a few of the divemasters at Toucan Diving at Plaza Resort looking for me. I should be back for 2 weeks in July as well as 2 weeks in November and I know I'll be looking for it! Cheers

@@Pete_R63 Sorry to say I doubt you'll ever find it. I went looking for someone the day after she lost a GoPro as well with clear indication where she thought she'd lost it, but got no luck; so a few months later, I think it'll be buried deep...

@@LivingandDivinginBonaire I can always hope. As a hobby treasure hunter, I have found phones and cameras that were buried in muck that people lost years ago that I am working to return to them. Cheers
