Outstanding overall presentation!! The US Army OD Jungle Fatigues issued during the Vietnam War was influenced by the M1942 and M1943 Parachutist Jump Suit. I think by 1965 onwards US Infantry and the Australians started wearing this into combat. By the 1980s this became the basis for the US BDUs without the slant pockets on the tunic or jacket otherwise it has the same concept as the US WWII Paratrooper uniform to stuff more shit on you if you might need it into combat. My unit in Panama did still issue the OD Jungle Fatigues in 1989 before going to all BDUs. Before a jump I would put stuff into my tunic or jacket and not anything on my thigh pockets so to make a less painful parachute landing fall. I put all that inside my ruck sack when jumping. Once on the ground after landing I would stuff my pockets with MRE contents, maps, glow sticks, and what ever I need on the move in the jungle in field exercises. The US Army Paratrooper uniform has influenced other armies around the world to adopt the same concept or pattern. Outstanding job!!!🤟🤟👍👍👍👍

Maybe the most uncomfortable part of being airborne. Asides from the whole war thing. Having all that stuff in yr pockets

Sul’fa or sul-fer are two pronunciations I’ve heard over the years I can’t place the accents exactly but the Sul’fa is deep American south Mississippi perhaps 😊
