I can feel the frustration through the screen but still loving the series. I was thinking anything under $100 just throw them on and give them to the customers with whatever they ask for. Only bargain with more expensive items? Might be better than just tossing them entirely. Still, thanks for the series. Good fun to watch.
I have never paid full price at a Flea Market or Garage Sale or Pawn Shop! I love to bargain with them. My kids hate it, they get embarrassed but I think it’s fun
The store will only be worth it if you can eventually hire a cashier and could set the bargain to no more than 15 dollars then you could concentrate on lockers
2:29 ya probably should've mention im in Canada (ottawa) places I've haggle/made deals at, Value Village, pawn shops, Salvation Army Thrift Store, used game stores like Mirco play etc. also should note for stores like the value village that are cooperate owned its only the supervise/manger that can do it, and still varies from location to location if they will its not common in stories like that but doable But honestly if you can't even haggle in the pawn shops you're going to your getting ripped off that is literally the first time i heard of a pawn shop not haggling. and maybe thats just restricted to the USA I'll also throw in that customers have been coming complaisant over the last few years/decade and mostly just accept trash from companys and just consume consume consume, so alot places don't even bother with haggle anymore simple cause another "consume consume zombie" will come shortly to buy it but ya even when i go abroad i also haggle in other countries like market stalls tiny store etc the only places you can't full stop is retail stores.
grill funny to watch you get a little salty with the game, i've seen non-American foreigners, in their native countries and here bargain in stores, even in our CVS pharmacies lol.
It really seems like you make more money through the cheaper storage lockers, which is kind of crazy. But it’s still fun to see what’s in the more expensive ones sometimes. I just wish you’d get something amazing for your money. I’m glad you got the other shelves, and that you haven’t given up on this series despite how frustrating the bartering is. 😅 The SCP comment made me wish more games like this would add a horror element like that computer repair simulator did with the backrooms, though. Definitely made that game stand out from the other simulators (even though I am a sucker for that genre in general). I hope this game changes something about the bartering system or the employees, though. It would definitely be more fun to be able to focus on the storage lockers and whatever the auction is.
This 'haggling' is horrendous, though. Like, who comes in and instantly shaves 50% off the price of almost any item, then refuses to even meet you in the middle? Like, 25% off is a great deal but people constantly trying to rip you off for like $400 is insane.
What’s funny irl on market place ppl wanna lowball to high hell but when they list their broken nasty ish they’re like paid this much or goes for this much on Amazon. I’m like when you bought that crap 20 yrs ago it wasn’t even worth that let alone now
Honestly not sure, I think you pick em up and then at dude you say repair with parts but been a while and wiped my memory of this game other then the nightmare of selling when I played lol
I wonder if it might be better to just accept on the last bargain chance? You would probably still make money from each locker and you would be able to move more items. I mean at one point to are arguing over $20! Is even arguing over $100 worth it? EDIT: oofff didn't watch the last 10 minutes before commenting. Those lockers are rough

Same tho ive never gone into a shop thats not a pawn shop or flea market stall and been able to get them to haggle.
It's not barter, it's bargaining. Barter is trading one item for another without involving money.

but who would stock the shelves after something sells
Thanks so much for your chill videos, Grill! Enjoy pretty much everything.
Really appreciate the support :)
The bargaining on the game is more realistic than you think. Lol. So is me telling people that make stupid offers to get lost.

52:30 yep, that's a weird mysterious small rectangle outside the window there. (An SEP, Somebody Else's Problem?)

52:31 the mysterious 'black spot' appears, which can only be some anomalous artifact.
It seems like the cheaper units tend to have a higher payout Grill.
Just an FYI don't put closed boxes/tubs in your truck. I did that, they glitches out and I lost an $800 console and a $1000 watch last night.
Still fun to watch

Yup one of the reasons I stopped playing it. Not even rarely asking for half its sooo often
tbh i'm more happy that I have the small store, the distance they have to walk is so much closer so you can churn through custys faster.
Loving this series even though I can definitely sense the pain !
I enjoy this series too I’ve just been out of town so my interactions were low~
Grill scammed those people so hard that they failed to realize he didn't sell them the other 'm' from the word, lol.
You bought the right store. The smaller one looks slummy. When i get the game ill wait for the bigger one also. good video
The workers menu in the top left corner says workerrs
Grill is there possibly that there a mod for this to make it more common since? Just saying to just to help you

How do you give the repair guy scrap parts? Great and entertaining videos by the way.

Like this one Grill!

I have a glitch i need to start over for some reason i can't load my saves
I've heard the auction is terrible
This game has some flaws but it could become a good game! I loved the video and can't wait for the next one
maybe it's time to wait for this game to get updated aka fixed
Love the series but i feel like the end of content is coming soon.
Is this the big shop
Ya, skipped the small one cause location to cost sucked lol
