Beautiful glass, one of my best Fuji lens purchases in a while. Agreed, the 90mm might be better for photographing insects and other camera-shy tiny critters from a distance.
I’m thinking about coming up with a macro project to justify getting the XF30, just to have a 30mm prime is something that I don’t need because I recently got the XF33 1.4 (excellent lens).
Thank you, I know what you mean, I own the 27 f2 and 35 f2, on a recent trip left the two lenses behind and took the 30 macro it was my most used lens not because of macro ability but because it’s a great range for most photos. If I owned the 33 f1.4 it would be difficult to leave behind.

I’ve been considering this lens, but I already own the 33 1.4. For me it just doesn’t make sense to have two 30mm primes. Great shots by the way.
