A stylish, well produced, Hitchcock-style thriller from the early 1990s, and quite typical of a lot of films that came out in that period, with its dark, shadowy, 'film noir' visual style. Kim Basinger gave a very good performance in this, playing the villain for a change and a character that was quite a departure for her at the time. However, it was the second time she portrayed a woman who became unhinged under the influence of alcohol, having previously done so to much funnier effect, in the '80s movie-comedy, Blind Date, with Bruce Willis.
Why don't they make movies like this anymore? I am a sucker for psychological thrillers/neo-noir but sadly can't name a single movie from recent times which fits the genre so aptly. It's safe to say directors these days don't know how to craft a mind-boggling edge-on-the-seat nail biting thrillers like the ones in the 90s!
I didn't think this was a particularly impressive film when it first came out, but I give a lot of props for Kim Basinger and Uma Thurman for portraying villainous sisters.
Yep enjoyed this movie immensely both blonde sisters had that shrink in the palm of their hands and that final shot with Thurman at the end was somewhat chilling.
I love this great thriller - reminds me Basic Instinct. It was 2nd movie with screen duet Gere-Basinger (after No Mercy) and it was really great movie. Richard and Kim were brilliant
Final Analysis movie is good with Richard Gere and Kim Basinger. Richard and Kim did another movie No Mercy. Kim, Grace Gealey, Caryn Ward, Zaza Ali, Karrine Steffans are hottest women.

Richard Gere's eyebrows deserved an Oscar nomination for this.

Kim Basinger - Vicki Vale (BATMAN 1989)
Uma Thurman - Poison Ivy (BATMAN & ROBIN 1997)
I noticed it!
Brilliant, I totally forgot about that!
It's got Hitchcock's Vertigo written all over it ! I love it

Such a 90's Thriller name " Final Analysis"
I want to look like a better version of Richard Gere in my next life - if i have to come back to this planet.

Villain romantic actor 😁😁😁😁😁
Very over the top film (especially the courtroom scenes) but incredibly fun and the cast really commits to the craziness.
Vicki Vale from Batman and Poison Ivy from Batman and Robin.
Batman connections
Vicky Vale and Pamela Isley were sisters, who knew
great movie
People, i need this movie now! Someone can help? Thank you!

Wrong Girl
Heather (Basinger) probably made Isaac (Gere) not wear any protection when they slept together, not caring that she was married.
Trailer is better than the movie.

I would have been happy to do it.
Are you gonna help me...or not?
