Nice videos you two. Lovely couple and great seeing your travels through my country. PS… the weather this last summer wasn’t normal. Colder that usual.

They used to run a Thomas the Tank engine day as well with fat controllers, Thomas train and the bus as well. My kids loved it. The hot bread kitchen at Emerald is one of the best you will ever see. The pies and cakes are ridiculous good.

Did not know that! So much more fun being able to have legs out.

When I first saw you were in Dandendong… I was like wtf. …Inside Dandenong: Melbourne's Most Notorious Suburb Unveiled
Dandenong is considered Melbourne's most notorious suburb, known for high crime rates, violence, and drug use. Dandenong ...

Oh! Interesting to know. Definitely was not evident in the areas we saw.

The Dandenong ranges are several suburbs north of Dandenong city and is quite different in safety - I wouldn't worry about crime there (though occasional bushfire risk)

Good on you for rubbishing Dandenong -- NOT! It isn't that bad !

Its the Dandenong ranges. A mountain range. Not the suburb of Dandenong.

If someone has not already told you -- Melbourne is pronounced 'Melb'n' The 'our' in it is not sounded. Australians have a lazy kind of speech via a relaxed jaw. It could be likely to do with the number of flies we try to keep out of our mouths !!! We call forests 'bush' most of the time. You will find that although culturally Australia is in some ways like England, it IS different.

lol. About 1 week into the trip we realized we were pronouncing it different. We have since learnt it is Melb'n. It takes some getting used to saying as naturally we want to say it, as it is written. We definitely noticed the differences in speech but agreed culturally Australia is far more similar to the UK. We really loved it there.
