- Hi everyone, I had lots of questions after posting a picture of the last last Kerrville Knife I made. So I decided I'd knapp this one on camera and hopefully answer some of those questions.
Thanks for watching.

Very nice! Ive yet to make me one.
@ndoghouse6853 Well, what are you waiting on 😆
Hello. Very nice piece as usual awfully big though.😂 you’re talking about having some work in the leather shop to do. I got about five years before I retire also like you sometime between now and then I’d like to order a bison or buffalo belt from you before you retire not quite sure what they run, but that should be no problem. Thank you.👍🙏
@jeffbilyard7848 Thanks, Jeff, just let me know when you're ready for that belt
@@DannyCollinsLithicsAndLeather OK thank you very much

Thanks for another informative video. Origin of "get down to brass tacks" is not 100% certain according to info i found. Tacks were used to decorate coffins in the 1860's so this may be the origin. Tacks were often nailed on counters at dry goods stores at inch intervals to measure cloth. When the customer decided how much they wanted the clerk "got down to tacks" to measure. Who knows for sure???
@macbailes9953 Thanks for the info Mac
Glad to see you make one of these, turned out great!, please abuse that pad, I will also add drop tested😂, I was cringing at every pressure flake hoping it wouldn't fail on you, so I was sweating too😁
@@miketufts9765 I'm enjoying the pads.
I’m here for the flint knapping videos but I wouldn’t mind seeing you make a sheath for one of the knives you knapped. Just saying..
