Vikings had 3 drives that ended in the red zone in the second half… yes the packers made adjustments, but KO did not let up. The first of those three ended in a sus INT, the second was the most important, after the packers cut the lead to 6 pts, and allowed us to make the game a 2 score game. The third came while we were icing the game and ended on a failed 4th down conversation at the 5. Of the 4 packers TDs, two came off crazy circumstances. The first was obv the muffed punt… the second was the strip sack leaving the ball on the 15… only two times did the packers drive the field and score. For sure a letdown by the defense, but errors can sometimes be expected. But twice the defense forced timely turnovers at the end of the game, which effectively secured our victory. Basically what I’m saying is that despite the final score and the mistakes we made, the game wasn’t really as close as people think. The packers never had the ball with the opportunity to tie or win the game, and of course they had 400 yds passing. They abandoned the run in the second qtr… hell they went for it on 4th and 9 from our 40 when it was still the first half… sometimes desperation plus bad circumstances leaves a door open, but I’m proud of how those guys shut that door when it really mattered. All of GBs 22 2nd half points came in a 10 minute window in the 4th qtr. they were owned for the rest of the game.
Vikings went into autopilot in the 2nd half and played prevent vanilla defense. Love threw 300+ garbage time yards to make the box score look close. Officiating crew was also really inconsistent and not good as far as reviews and catch calls.

Honestly, my opinion is biased. Packers made it a game the last 10 or so minutes of the game. Packers took advantage of the opportunities, not taking anything away from them. But it seemed more like a couple of the decisions that led to short offensive drives, keeping the defense out there too long at the end, and the defense falling out of rhythm. was more than the packers coming back. I think its one of those learning experiences. And this comes from a guy who 2 years ago was super pissed off at how Vikings were down 33-0 to the fricken colts, more than i was 'happy' we broke a record for the greatest comeback in history.

We had injuries too. Still no tj.. as much as the coach denied it they dialed back the play calling on both sides. Then when they tried to ramp it back up when they started to come back we lost momentum. They need to keep being aggressive all gave. Doesn't matter about the score. I understand it's less film for teams to watch but keep going.
