You can test it before replacing it. First thing you want to Always check is for bad ground that's the number one cause to most issues.

Would it do it only on left turn signal or both left and right? I got the same problem but idk if its the relay or the actual plug on the rear

That’s an 99-02

Incorrect the 99-02 would have a smaller steering wheel on 03-06 they change to the flat one
