Thank you for this album. I have been looking for it for a while. They seem to have released only 2 albums and disappeared from the scene. I was desperate to listen to them again I nearly bought the long play records from Germany for $100. That meant I had to buy the old fashioned music players. In 1986-87 I played muka tiende repeatedly on a Walkman from a cassette when I was going to lectures on my bike when I was at university of Cambridge. This album inspired me do go to Zimbabwe and bring my own rural colleagues from Mhondoro to uk. They came and played at my graduation before we toured the country including appearances on bbc blue peter, Edinburgh fringe festival and womad festival. My group was popular we secured 2 more consecutive tours in uk and North America. Unfortunately I had to go back to being a vet. I have done well in that field. This album especially muka tiende has again inspired me I should go back and recruit more Mhondoro mbira players. This will be more than 32 years later. Mhondoro here I come!
